It's getting interesting , where do we rank now? Plus there is still the draft .

Its not interesting. Brady and Belicheat still reign supreme until a quarterback from the other three teams steps up.

I will say that Suh definitely helps us against the Patriots. Fierce pressure is the only thing that can disrupt Brady.

I would feel a whole lot better about our chances though if I had any faith at all in our head coach.

Once Suh and Wake pancake Brady into very early retirement, we will take over

After last season's defensive collapse and two straight years of Miami choking at the end to miss a playoff berth I wanted to see a new coaching staff for this upcoming season. I have no faith in Philbin (and his staff) to take this team to the playoffs. Although I'm not big on Tannehill (I think that he could become above average with a strong running game, a dominating o-line, and better playcalling/coaching), a young QB with potential and Suh on defense may attract a quality Head Coach after Philbin is fired.

As it stands now, Miami will need every good player that they can get their hands on, because they will be out-coached by the Patriots, Jets, and Bills.

Of the three big initial AFC East moves(McCoy to Buffalo, Marshall to New York, Suh to Miami) the Dolphins made the best by far. Though a lot can happen between now and the season, including the draft, to know for sure. But Miami won round one IMO.

I think the Patriots will always win the division unless Brady gets injured or retires...its just like one of the laws of the universe. The Bills d-line still owns us and they manage to beat us with their horrible QB's...and now they have Cassel and Mccoy so that's not going to be an easy match up. The Jets now have Brandon Marshall, but as long as they have Geno Smith at QB I am not scared at all.

I would say we are competing with the Bills for 2nd place, and I would still put them above us until I see how we look come opening day. The good news is we are always in the running for the wild card with the usual teams and I think we can compete with them..(Bengals, Steelers, Chargers and so on)

The Bills got worse with their QB "solution". He is awful.

The Bills beat us with Ej Manuel's back up....twice two years ago. I don't even remember the guys name, but they beat us twice with that dude. Then last year they took a dump on us in their home opener and were still competitive in the 2nd game against us. The point is, their D-line alone can beat us. The fact that they actually have some offensive threats now makes it even worse.

Marone is gone and Rex Ryan is in. We always play well against Ryan's team. I am not worried about Buffalo. The evil empire in NE is the goal post to knock over.

It's nice to see the other 3 start stockpiling some talent. NE is the favorite and will be until #12 retires but we can all take a game here and there from them and make it more difficult for them to cruise to a bye in postseason every year.
