Hello,

I read the alex marvez colum today, and I 'am afraid to see zach cut this offseason, does it 's possible to rework his deal, or his salary cap is too big to cut him ?

I hope he can finish his carrer in fin jersey and with a ring :dolphins:

Last I checked, Zach was 3rd in the NFL in tackles with 82. Why cut him?

Cato June..........................................IND............86.....................
London Fletcher-Baker..........................BUF...........84......................
Zach Thomas......................................MIA...........82.....................

he will not be cut, there's not even a chance

yeah zt is dolphins football. he is not going to get cut he and jt are are heart and soul!

Zach is getting to the point in his career that he is going to have to look at restructuring is contract in order to stay here I hope he is willing to do it to remain with the Dolphins. Some guys egos won't allow them to do it. It may not be next year but it's coming soon.

zach will be here, he is STILL one of the best defenders in the whole league.

He'll retire a fin...they'll find a way to keep him here

I would love to see it . . . but the man does have a huge salary cap number, and is getting up there in age. Tony G was abusing him Sunday in pass coverage . . . while Crowder seemed to handle Tony much better. Also Zack has been ineffective on the blitz pretty much all season. He definetly isn't the same guy he was even 3 years ago.

However, u can't replace his intangibles or his heart or smarts. What he lacks in physcials he has ALWAYS made up for in those 3 . . . and that holds true more than ever as we speak. I think he will definetly have to restructure his contract to remain a Fin, and I hope Miami does everything they can to see that happens. We can't forget we have VERY LITTLE depth at LB, and losing Zack not only kills the LB depth, it kills the leader of the defense.

I don't think Zach would want to go anywhere else. He's established himself in Miami....Maybe when he's a veteran like Seau, but not anytime soon.

Tony G abuses EVERYBODY in pass coverage. But if i remember correctly Tony G will be missing one game this week...due to trip to Miami last week. So who got more abused? haha sorry, I really dont wish injuries on anyone.
