"It's a blessing considering where I've been and what I've been through," Wilson said Monday. "The fact I can live my dream and make an NFL roster is something great. It's a story of perseverance, not anything bad.""When you look at Jimmy's body, he doesn't look like a corner. He looks like a safety," Sparano said. "But he's playing corner, and the reason is he's around the football. He has good enough speed, and when the ball is in the air, he thinks it's his."http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/miami-dolphins/sns-ap-fbn-dolphin-out-of-jail,0,7177226.story

Nothing is scarier than an angry football player who has been accused of murder (Ray Lewis)

Good for him,and i hope when the ball is in the air,it does become his.

This dude wasn't just accused of murder he straight up murdered somebody. It was self defense though I believe, but still.

Some douche bag pissed on his Aunt with children present and when Jimmy went over to her house to confront the man, the man came out with a rifle and a struggle ensued, the gun went off and Jimmy fled the scene with one man dead. He was young and stupid and didn't think it through and was later acquitted of the charge.

I have had a gun pulled on me before and let me tell ya, you have two choices run like hell or fight for your life, I don't run very fast and I am still typing but no one ended up dead so........lucky. At the very least I understand what he had to do and why he did it and being young and making a fool foolhardy decision.

I am pulling for this kid to do great things as an under-dog, I hope he becomes a fixture on the defense for years to come.

Nah man the guy really murdered someone. Who are we to judge that though. Maybe he did what he had to.

Crazy man, I know you looked at life differently after that.

Hey, let's just move forward on this one. Let's hope he's really what Y-Bell said he is and that he wants to "Bully" everyone. The kid likes contact and lets hope he turns out to be just that - an aggressive bully on game day.

Calm down everyone I never said he was wrong, just that he killed a dude.

No he didn't. He was acquitted and released from jail.

No, he did. But it's not like he went out into the street and shot someone. It was self-defense.

I really hope he can turn into a great nickleback for us since Allen is gone and Sapp is... eh.

It's not murder if you kill someone in self-defense. hello?

Exactly. I'm a victim of a gun shot wound too. And when a gun is pointed at you... your natural reaction is 'kill or be killed'.
