after 8 gms who was better feeley or gus

so now that gus has started the same amount of games that feeley had last year and achieved the exact same record who do you think is better. personally considering the improved offensive line and vastly improved running game i think feeley wouldve been 5-3 with this team. obviously we'll never know but considering all the stuff i took for stating that gus was worse than feeley i'm interested to see how many still feel that way

Despite the fact that Gus Frerotte is worse than probably ten backups in the league, he is still alot better than AJ Feeley. AJ and Jay Fiedler combined for 6 interceptions returned for TD's last year. At least Gus isn't doin that, although he did throw the game away today.

Feeley only won 3 games last year and two of them were against San Francisco and Cleveland... It doesn't take anything to beat Feeley's performance last year and Gus has done that already and has done nothing... as bad as Frerotte has been, Feeley was unbelievably that much worse.

I agree. I may be wrong but I think that some of those pick 6's were because of our offensive system.

Gus has not literally handed the game to other teams and given them points in 90% of the games...thus he gets the nod over 3rd string boy AJ.

Gus is a solid backup QB. Feeley is a bad backup QB/3rd stringer. Frerotte's better but thats not saying much. Frerotte doesn't kill us with his picks. But he doesn't throw TD's either

I liked him better than feely. And now I'm almost wishing we had him instead of gus. He wasn't the QB of the future, and at least now we've been getting rid of the guys who arn't the qb of the future.

Its sad to think (IMO) we would have won 2 games we lost if we had fielder isntead of gus....

I am sorry I think we were better off with AJ. Yeah he made some bone head throws (all though about half were proven to be WR errors), he still made me feel like we had a chance because he had the physical skills and at least enough nuggets to try and make somehting happen. He was on a far inferior team.

With Gus Fiedler, it is just terrible. No spark, no talent, no courage, no hope.

Adam, dude, you are really just barking up the wrong tree trying to bring AJ back into the mix. you cant be serious. I know your an AJ lover. for whatever reason, Ill never know, but AJ would have had 6 Int's for TD's at this point.

I think you need to move on. Seriously. It makes you look like you were just waiting for this moment to prove you were right about Aj when you never really were. The dude was traded. Time to move on. I did not vote. It is simply oportunistic BS.
