After everything, we should have given Henne a second chance.

What matters is Philbin wants Garrard. Maybe not his number 1 choice, but apparently he fits the system better than Henne.

how is a guy who sat out with back suregery... or whatever he had.. philbins choice at qb over the 19 other guys we could have had.

who did we sign? Manning and Smith were not options and obviously the team was not convinced that Flynn was the guy because they refused to overpay. Who are the other 16?

You seem to forget that people here believe that out of the 90 qb's in the NFL, Henne is somewhere in the 85-90 range.

Don't you realize Garrard is the backup, who will fight with Moore to keep him on his toes, but will also be a veteran leader with playoff experience to help bring along the rookie

Also, I was for keeping Henne, but fact is he needs a fresh start between the inpatient media and regime turnover he was as good as done with us. Also, he's not really an ideal WCO QB.

But for the people here bashing Henne, they seem to forget how well he played at the beginning of the season. He had some impressive games and looked ready to breakout before the injury. But we'll never know

We realize we do not want Moore to start. He is a fine back up period. We also realize Gerrard is an awful signing, waste of space. Flynn was unproven & Smith was questionable, but I think most here feel either would have a good chance in this offense. Henne had is issues but made you wonder what he could become with a fresh start. Gerrard???? 34 coming off surgery??? No one wanted him!!!

Get real.

Chad Henne is terrible. About as bad as Garrard. Just because Garrard is garbage, dosent mean we shouldve brought Henne back. A better option would be to forfeit the season in agreement for the 1st pick next year.

I'm not a huge fan of the Garrard signing, but let's not pretend that this guy is some scrub. His last 3 years in Jacksonville, he put up good numbers and had them in the hunt. He has over 85 QB rating over his career, and he signed that big contract just before they let him go. Exactly what the fanbase is attempting to force Miami to do (just draft a QB, any QB in the first round), is what got them in the position they're in now. Gabbert had bust written all over him, but they rolled the dice and failed. They should've kept Garrard.

henne already had a 2nd chance. HENNE SUCKS. HENNE F*CKING SUCKS HENNE SUCKSSSSSSS

LEARN. IT.

if it turns out that henne > garrard than i am 100 percet sure that Moore will be our starter - which is still much better than Henne.

HENNE ended sparanos head coaching stint, made ireland the biggest scapegoat i may have ever witnessed in pro sports, and just plain SUCKED SUCKED SUCKEDDDDDDD. no more henne threads man HENNE SUCKS!
