11. Pittsburgh - 6-8

welll everything can look like that on monday morning, besides the cinci being 8-6 bc they play monday night. but if thats how things look tuesday we would be in solid position if we win out .

ya i changed the titel to "after monday"... everything can really occur with the cardinal game being the upset of the week and the titan game being a shocker.. but then again, they jags and titans are division rivals, so anything goes

If all of the games break the way you think they will, the seeding would be:

#7 - Jets
#8 - Miami
#9 - Kansas City
#10 - Denver
#11 - Tennessee

The Jets would still have the tiebreaker over us because they beat us. We would have the tiebreaker on the Chiefs, and the Chiefs over Denver for the same reason. Denver would have the tiebreaker over Tennessee on conference record.

We cannot finish with the same record as Cincinnati or Denver, because we haven't played either and both will finish with better conference records than us.

So Cinci has to lose out. And Denver can only win 1 more game. Right?

Denver can finish 9-7 as long as KC also does.

So who would get in if this happened:

Denver: 9-7 (win against Cinci and San Fran/Arizona)
Cincinnati: 9-7 (Win against Pit)
Kansas City: 9-7 (win against Jax and Oakland)
Miami: 9-7 (win out)
Jacksonville: 9-7 (Win against Tennessee)

Wrong. We have the tie-breaker over the Jets if we win out. (Common opponents.)

It's confusing as to who would the tie-breaker between the Fins, KC, and Denver because we beat KC, so we would win over them, but Denver would win over us, and I'm not sure who would win between KC and Denver.

Best case scenario: Denver finishes 8-8. Then we would win the tie-breaker over KC and the Jets. That I know for sure.

But this is all moot unless Cincy loses all 3 of their next 3 games. OR Jax loses all 3 of their next 3 games.

The Jacksonville loss really hurt our playoff chances. We'd be the front-runner for the 2nd Wild Card seed right now if we had beat them.

I don't know, but Cincy and Jax would get in ahead of the Fins.

2 crucial reasons that Miami doesn't make the post season; the 1st Loss to the Bills & the one to Houston.

No doubt every game counts. But if we had beat Jacksonville, we'd be sitting pretty. That's the one that really hurts.

if it looks like that idk what ill do but ill go crazy.

We'd have to root for the Pats to beat the Jags next week.

I'll take your word for it.

In a three way tie when two are from the same divison one of those teams is eliminated first. KC has the tiebreaker over Denver, so Denver would be out, we have the tiebreaker over KC so they would be out.

Just figured Id explain that for everyone/anyone with questions why.
