After prepping for my fantasy league I noticed that the Dolphins....

With our new hurry up style offense and old man johnson hobbling "taking precaution" on his hammy, I think the Houston game is very winnable.

i for one was very happy to see us get Houston first.

I am confident because Philbin adjusts his game at halftime and all the time. Most Houston games are close and down to the wire. I just do not see Philbin allowing Houston to take us in the last two minutes.

What a tone beating Houston would set for this team and coach!! Not having a win against Houston is the poster child for the state of this team the last decade.

Keep in mind that when teams see us in THEIR schedules, they're licking their chops at the sound of Garrard/Moore/Tannehill.

I hope they are because Moore was top 5 AFC quarterback last year and Garrard missed the season with back surgery but made pro-bowl year prior. I hope teams are licking their chops because Miami definitely doesn't have a lower tier quarterback group like years past.

Hah! That was awful....can't believe we let Tebow beat us in the last few minutes like that. :bobdole:

It was Florida Gator day at Dolphins stadium, it was a fitting result. Gotta love the marketing dept. sheesh

Unfortunately for the Dolphins, you also play 7 games against teams that finished in the top 9 in defense last season ... plus another two against a Buffalo defense that should be vastly immproved. And your doing it with THAT offense. How do you plan on scoring any points? 9 or 10 wins?? ... Good luck.
So we play 11 games against non top ten defenses? That's how. I know you said top 9 but the only reason to stop at nine is because number ten must not support your idea. We have a pretty good defense too in case you didn't know, so we don't need to score that much. That's how. Even though we lost Brandon Marshall (I liked him but he cost us more games than he won for us) our offense wasn't that bad and improving last year. Our offense is just as good at every position except wide out. Against these QBs I can confidently say that we will win more than we will lose. I admit to being an optimistic fan, but we got good things going on down here.

Besides Brady or Schaub, how many on that list would you take instead of Garrard. I see a few, just wondering. Is there 5 or maybe 10?

Looking at this, I think more highly of our chances at being in the mix of the playoffs in December

Always that time of year, Preseason, where fans get hopeful and have unrealistic expectations

You can't be serious.

we might be 4th place in our division. Playoffs?

Might make the playoffs too. Saying might works both ways

I don't think even Junc can dispute that statement.

I'm going to try and start making a profit off of him sniffing word about his team not being as great as he thinks they are. At least that way I can look forward to the same back and forth arguments you can find here everyday.
