"A year ago, I might have questioned a little bit how important this whole thing was to Paul," coach Tony Sparano said. "Where now, I don't see that. ... From a professional standpoint, I think this guy's starting to get it. He's starting to figure out that this isn't just a hobby."

Im still not bought into Soliai...I wanna see more than 3 tackles out of him.....no,not in a game,a season....

I'll believe when I see it. Until then, we're better off hoping nothing happens to Jason Ferguson than hoping this guy FINALLY gets his **** together.

I commented on Monday that Soliai looked very strong at the point of attack Sunday night and he was moving laterally a hell of alot quicker than he use to. I still saw him playing too high at times but even playing high he was standing up the double team. The guy definitely looks leaps and bounds better than the sluggish fat *** that was getting pushed back from several years back.

Im with ya. Never has a guy done so little to get so much credit for a preseason game.

That was a good article. With Ferguson getting up there in age, we need Soliai to get his game up to higher levels in a hurry. We need a smart, well coached monster in the middle for our 3-4 defense. Maybe with his new wife he's a lot more motivated to try to secure their future together. New wives (the good ones) have a way of doing that. The NFL definitely pays a lot better than "the real world" when you are in your 20s.

I still think NT is our first round pick next draft...

Yeah I feel more comfortable with a NT drafted by the trifecta and groomed from the get go by Ferguson than the inherited damaged goods that is Soliai.

He was only in the league for one season before they got ahold of him. That is hardly irreparable damage.

Soliai is following the rules & is hard to budge. So, what's the problem with him getting a few props?

People have a right to say what they want, I just dont see anything special from the guy. Kind of like beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Who on our team do you see as special?

It was only a few months ago he showed up overweight and out of shape. I'm sure he's grown up since then. Growing up only takes a few months.
