I thought we had 14 million or so left in cap space and with solai at 9 a year and Marshall at 5 a year that about does it in cap space doesnt it. Im not really sure how it works but I dont think we have enough money left to sign Manning or Flynn if we wanted to unless we restructure Long, cut Bell , Fasano, and McDaniel. We cant go into the year with Tannehill and Moore can we? I guess my question is did us resigning our own guys and picking up Marshall eat up all of our space??

We were at around 17 I think then with Marshall gone that would have removed his 11 or so million that would have counter against us this year if II am not mistaken.

Best guess puts us anywhere from just under $10 million to as little as $5 million.

It really depends how the contracts are structured.

We probably have enough for one more FA, such as Winston or Flynn.  Manning is possible, but only with a lot of restructuring that I assume players like Long would be amenable to in order to get Manning.

Why is this team's cap so inflated...we hardly have any players worth a damn

I guess we don't have any money for Flynn now.

Carrying some dead cap is hurting us. Also, Long and Dansby alone account for $24 million (about 20% of our cap).

Cause Murtha is getting paid 1.9 mil....smh

Strong possibility to is a starter at RT or RG. He will at least get to compete for a starting spot.

He was signed as a RFA with a 2nd round tender. That's why he is getting close to $2 million.

The overwhelming majority of the cap space is being used on the defense (potential to be top 5 in the league) and Long.

I hope someone takes him for a 2nd rounder haha, only the Boys would do that lol

DEals wont get restructured until we have to. I am sure discussions have been made with Long and Bell and Dansby and Fasano.

If we need to, we can extend Long, and/or restructure Dansby to create space.

Murtha doesn't deserve to start. Why does everyone think so highly of him??
