Sadly our season ends this Sunday. After the Superbowl, what do you guys do to cope with no football/Dolphins. Yeah i watch other sports, but it just ain't the same. Does this site stay kicking in the offseason?

Only 8 more months 'till preseason.

College Basketball until March...NASCAR starts again in February.

This site isn't kicking during the season. The malcontents hibernate a bit but usually gear up in Feb/early March with their list of criminals we "have" to draft.

I'd really like to see the teens and 20 year olds in here smarten up this year. That's the goal.

"IT AIN'T THE O-LINE, STUPID"

Basketball, then Marlins for a month untill TC opens.

It is about the OL, anyone posting otherwise just doesn't understand football very well. The OL has been the crux of success for every winning team I've ever watched, and I've watched a LOT of football in my 54 years. I played center and linebacker in HS and college, and learned long ago, no run blocking = no run success, no pass blocking = no passing game.

College basketball since my Noles have a shot at the tourny this year, then Braves and NASCAR to fill the summer.

Well for me once the season ends it's continuing the NBA season with San Antonio and then the Nationals kick off against the Marlins in April. Draft, then nothing, then Free Agency, then nothing, and then TC.

It gets slow here in the offseason and when it isn't slow, it's a bunch of rumors and speculation as to who we'll cut, trade for, and draft.

:shakeno:

Sundays get boring and this site slows down. But I watch Basketball.

And I look for any bit of news or rumors we get in the offesason to quell the boredom.

I will watch the playoffs and watch the Celtics and just patiently wait for free agency to start and the draft to come around.

Sure it does. You'll notice the football talk to be mainly focused on who to draft and what if this or what if we do that....

If that's boring then you just go to other parts of the forum that talk about different things...

In the end, after the season for me, life gets a little boring until I adjust which is usually after the Pro Bowl.

After the Pro Bowl I know that the season is officially over for everyone and anything having to do with the previous year.

By then I sort of am used to not seeing the Fins every weekend...sort of...and I deal with it the best I can until the new season starts...what else can you do....

Oh yeah, I'll watch the Miami Heat and some Marlins games too just to pass the time....of course nothing is like football season...

The O-Line improved a whole lot this year. I think your being to ignorant in just saying that is all we need. If you know football so much you should also know that WRs have to get open within a certain amount of time in order for the play to work accordingly. Also the QB has to get rid of the ball in time in order for the play to work and not be sacked(C-PEP). C-PEP made the offensive line look bad at the begining of the year. As soon as we benched his butt they played a whole lot better. That O-Line is starting to become one of the best in the league. I do agree we might need to plug in maybe one or two new offensive line man but that is just it. We have a nice line that is starting to know how to work with one another. I mean RB is about to reach 1,000 yards rushing this year and he missed 3 games. C'mon had it not been for C-PEP's sacks this unit would have given up fewer sack than what they were wrongly accused for thanks to C-PEP. The core of the line is good not great but good, and with a couple of additions to add depth we could have one of the best in the league very soon.

This teams problems is not the o-line is the lack of game-breakers and playmakers. We have none. Except for RB, Chambers and the WRs(Not including Wes) are awfull they don't help the line or the QB's

By the way PhinsRock did any of your HS or college teams have a RB gain 4.1 yards per carry? That is what Ronnie is averaging this year. I think their is a lot of teams in the NFL that would love to have an O-Line that lets their RB rush for 4.1 ypc. But i might be wrong since your the only person here that has played organized sports according to you.
