So I was at the watering hole I've been going to this year. There's mostly only Buffalo Bills bars around here, but I found a place that has a good mix of fans. Even so, there's usually only one or two Dolphins fans at this place.

So I'm sitting there in the 4th quarter and there is just one Bears fan in the place, but he's obviously a long-time regular there with a group of Bills, and Steelers fans around him. As the other games wrap up all focus turns to the Dolphins Bears game. Surprisingly most of the Bills fans were not being d*(ks, but the group sitting around the Bears fan started taunting me with jeers and jabs. Hate being in that situation with nobody else around.

Things got worse once Drake fumbled on the one. The taunting was getting bad and they wanted to get a reaction out of me I could tell. I sat there steely eyed and gritty and made not a peep. When we stopped them on 3rd down right at field goal range... not a peep. Steely grit. No eye contact. They miss the field goal and I remain quiet and move to a spot in the room where they have to find where I am. We start a drive... we get into field goal range and stall. They cheer and again feel the taunting. Staring at the screen, I know Sanders is going to win it... I watch the kick. I see it's going to be good. Before it goes thru the uprights, I walk toward the exit. As the Dolphins win the game, all those schmucks could see was the back of my head walking out the door since the exit was next to the TV with the Fins game on. Still ne'er a peep.

Fans up north or a noisey group by and large the cold weather and gray skys must make em grumpy

After the fumble I didn’t even care anymore. You really don’t deserve to win after being handed the game once and in position to win it a 2nd time. But I’m glad they won.

Where these the guys?

It was probably the Steeler fans being dicks. They are the worst. They give up on the season when they are 1 and 2. Then they jump on the bandwagon. They complain about our division being easy for the pats, but their division is a joke except for the Ravens. Actually the last two wild card teams came from the East not the North/Central. They cry about injuries and they have none!!! They insist they woulda won the super bowl but they had that Shazier injury. One ****ing injury to a starter the last two years. Their team also head hunts. They get just as many calls as the pats. Their fans always tell me to beat the patriots. I say beat them yourselves. We usually split with them. Ya they are idiots. Yes I can't stand them.

Btw good for you! You handled that great bud!

It's a young team that has to be allowed to grow. They're like young children in many ways and like young children will make mistakes and hopefully will grow from it.
You can't abandon them during that phase. That's why with new life we went right back to Drake. Trust me, He'll never forget that. We're going to continue to need him. It's a very long season.

I tip my Dolphins cap to you...

I’m not gonna say I felt like crying when he fumbled that ball. I will not say that you can’t make me lol

Good for you, they felt like jackasses when you walked out I'm sure.

As bad as I hate to say it, when Drake fumbled I started laughing. "Not because he fumbled" just because I was waiting for that jinx, I'm accustomed too.

Then I remembered Cody was their kicker.
I said out load in my house, "YOU CANT MAKE THIS **** UP" unbelievable.

Its on the kicker we lost, down to the wire, we had the game in our hands and......

I was shocked when he missed, but truthfully in my gut I had a feeling he would due to the pressure.

Great win, proud of this team this week.

What is it about sports that make people such idiots. I don't heckle people when they're out wearing or cheering for their teams. The same person would not say anything to you on the streets, yet in a bar or stadium they get brass balls. You are better than me I would have politely told him to keep his mouth shut and then I would have shut his mouth for him.
