I did :(
That catch was soo ridiculous, to break up INT, then catch it, wow. I felt the comeback but once this happened i thought playoffs.

Tough season, but it was super exciting, close games every week.

Our offseason is super compelling, especially with ronnie's contract situation, and the draft is confusing in that who do we say goodbye too?
Last year it was clear we needed to draft CB's, S, WR and OL
This year, It's really hard to order priorities IMO.

I'm glad we solved the QB and CB positions this year, Bess and Hartline will be fins for a while too.

OMVP-Ricky
DMVP-Randy Starks
Rookie-Vontae
Buster- Gibril or Ginn, gibril has not worked out at all, terrible in passing game, and i thought ginn would excel this year, but he's just as much of a softee, and he's falling out of favor.

Good luck to Pennington whereever he may fall, I think all of us just want to see him happy, either behind Henne or starting elsewhere
It's going to be nice giving Henne first team reps all offseason.

Next year, NFL better watch out, no homerism.. I'm serious ppl. WE ARE CLOSE to the SB

Let's put it this way: I was starting to think that after the Hartline catch. I started to think it more after we got the 2-point conversion (after screaming loudly something to the effect of "WHAT THE **** IS PAT WHITE DOING OUT THERE AGAIN??!!"). Then I began to think it even more when we stopped them 3 and out. And even more when Fisher, for reasons beknonwst to only God and himself, didn't use any of his time-outs while we were pinned on our own 2. I REALLY believed it when we won the toss. And then I stopped believing it the minute Henne threw the pick. This was a tough one to swallow. It'll bug me all week. And if we don't make the playoffs, it'll bug me all year, just like the Indy, New Orleans, and Buffalo debacles will too.

meh still got a legit chance to get in this year..need to win our last two and have balt lose at pitt and jax to lose at NE..we can do it..Pitt almost won in baltimore few weeks ago with dennis dixon at QB.

No. I'm a big believer in early advantage. Comebacks are overrated. Unless it's a premier team rallying late after a sluggish beginning, among the middle of the pack teams I tend to favor the team that asserted itself early to rebound.

Same thing in stuff like golf playoffs. The announcers made a big deal out of so-called momentum but they've obviously never studied it. Momentum sounds good so they lazily abuse it. More often than not, the player who led early will win a 2-man playoff even if he was caught in the late holes. I can't count how many bets I've won on that angle.

Regardless, it was awesome to see an NFL overtime, legitimate football where both sides of the ball can make a game deciding play. Wimps like Bob Costas perpetually whine that both teams need to see the football, which would be a travesty. I can't even watch college overtimes. Once it heads there, I click the channel, game over. The old pre-overtime days were awesome, so much strategy involved. The other day I watched Miami/Florida 1986 on tape. The Gators actually went for 2 in the middle of the 4th quarter, after scoring to cut the Miami lead to 23-15. They wanted to make it 23-17 so they could win with a late 7 points.

I realize that sounds like a fairy tale, the Gators gutsy enough to schedule Miami. Trust me, I have the tape.

Nope. I never once thought we were "destined." After the catch I'm thinking we have to score and convert the two-point conversion if we want to win the game. Destined after that catch?

C'mon man. We still have Houston and Pittsburgh to play AFTER that great catch. One play isn't destiny.

I started thinking it after the two point conversion. And then seeing the entire team come together on the sideline before overtime started gave me goosebumps.

It was a tough loss, but something to build on this team has heart and with Parcells in the front office theres nothing but better things to come.

I disagree that our QB situation is solved. We need a QB who leads us to wins in close games, not brings us close and we end up losing. I know we need better WRs, but I think its crazy premature to say we are set at QB. We are not.

and Henne has done that multiple times already in his short NFL career... so we do have a QB who does that...

i was thinking the destined stuff after the catch and 2pt conversion... but even still im thinking it... i mean it seems everything is still falling into place to keep us in the playoff chase... after the Buffalo game we were like we're done just to realize everyone we needed to lose, lost and we were still in it... now most of us thought we would have to win out to have any chance at the playoffs... but even with this loss we're still just 1 game back and have some tiebreakers to our advantage.... the season isn't over

Ok. We'll see. If Henne can lead us to two wins, perhaps hes better than I think he is. But I don't think he has it in him. I think hes going to fail, because hes not very smart.

You got to remember that in reality this is Henne first year as a starter and the stupid decisions that he has made and some parts of games are growing pains.I'm not saying that Henne is gonna be the next Payton Manning but don't forget that Manning threw 17 picks his first year in the league. Is a learning process and I think that Henne is our qb for years to come.

After the catch and then TD and two-point conversion I expected a typical collapse of the defense that the Fins seem to always have after a big offensive success. I'm glad the defense stepped up on that ensuing drive which I typically expect them to screw up on.

honestly, ill say this. when we were down 24-6, i said to my dad who i watch the games with, that if we came back and won the game, we were destined and that we would no doubt in my mind win the superbowl.

i started getting exciting that we may do it, but once the titans got that lucky punt to bounce at the 2 yd line, i started to rethink. then once we won the coin toss, i thought no way we lose.

this is why this game is so tough to swallow. i dont think ill get over it till game time this sunday.

Yes, I thought it too... then we lost.. :(

still have some legitimate chances to get in but the ball definitely has to bounce our way.. We actually need to root for NE to beat JAX next week and for Pit to beat Baltimore.. then we need to beat Houston and Pit to finish our season..
