After this week things will be okay

Carson played a Jets Defense that is still finding ways to gel together last week. This is an established D you are dealing with Son. Dont come in here with your Carson Palmer Poppy****. Palmer is a good young QB, but I guarantee you that he hasnt faced a D like this yet.

Surtain or no Surtain this D will have no problem shutting down Palmer and anyone else that the Bengals want to throw at us.
Did you just say " your Carson Palmer Poppy****." That is the funniest quote I have heard all week. :roflmao:

good luck... But I think it is Carson who will be giving the league a reality check that he is for real.

I agree I think Carson is going to be fine QB in this league. IMO he can do it all. He can throw on the run and has a cannon for arm. If he had put a little more air under that ball you guys may have won if you won the toss in OT. I do however think he will have a little trouble against our D.

Did you see what we did against the Pats in preseason... I dont think you did

Did you see what the Jags did to the Patriots in the preseason? The preseason doesn't matter. It is just evaluation time.

i think he already did, after week 1 everyone in the league is aknowledging that hes gonna be good, but lets make sure he wont fold with some more pressure on him and a much more established secondary... its definately gonna be a tougher test for him... you guys should hope your run game is working so that you can get us with some play actoin cause if not i dont see many passing yards for you guys...

In week 4 when they didnt play any starters.. Yes.. Against us, they had Dillon in for 3 quarters and their 1st D for 3 quarters

Nothing like a win quieting the critics.

A.J Feeley and Lamar Gordon will lead the Dolphins offense to an impressive road win.

This is the perfect defense (Bengals) for Miami to gain some confidence.

I think Feeley has a big game and puts an end to that week to week crap and remains the starter for the rest of the season.

Gordon and Minor will be able to run on the Bengals.

The defense gives Carson Palmer a reality check

Anyone else like their chances this week?
Unfortunately the reality is that Gordon won't have a big game because he is still fairly new, and the o-line stinks. And apparently some of you have convinced yourselves that Feeley is the next Marino, but in reality he is a 3rd stringer with 8 college games under his belt. The Dolphins D will keep this game close, but they should be able to run the ball consistently on us.

One game, and we suddenly have the worst run D on earth. We'll be fine on run D this year.

My friend, I applaud your enthusiasm, but Steve freaking Mcnair managed 72 yards against our D. And they were on the field the whole game because our offense didn't know the game was Saturday and missed the first half. Our D eats young QB's like Palmer for a quick snack.
mcnair only attempted 12 passes and completed 9 of them. why pass when you can hand the ball off all day. don't get me wrong, our run d was non existant as well but don't make it sound like your d shut down the titans passing game. they just didn't need to pass except for when they had to.

Surtain will play.

Besides our FOURTH corner(Poole), is BETTER than the rookie the Bengals START.

Whats his name?

Who`s got Chambers? O'neal

Who`s got Booker? James

Where is McMichael? Simmons, Williams, or Kashvihearn

Sorry, it was a "draw" to Gordon.

2nd and 4.

Huddle up.
your talking about madieu williams. he got better in the second half and pennington stopped throwing his way as much. he's actually a safety that can play corner. this week we will have oneal back and williams will go back to the safety position.

if surtain is out, who will cover chad "7-11" johnson

One thing I've learned with the Dolphins is to expect the unexpected. Given that, I believe this game will be a close shootout. We're going to learn some new shortcomings (i.e. our defense will get shredded) and we're going to see some bright spots (i.e. the offense performs well, maybe a special teams highlight). In the end, I unexpectedly expect to be disappointed in a loss to the Bengals. It's just the way it's meant to be given our situation (injuries, new personnel, loser head coach).

This will be a tough game, I think. I don't like the idea of not having Surtain -- any time your top corner is missing, you worry. But I do like our depth at the position.

I think Palmer will be 'the real deal' and is already showing what he can do, but I do think this is a different defense than the Jets.

Tough game all around.

Dude, give it time before you jump all over Palmer's nuts. He's only played one game, and this is like his rookie season basically. Granted, he WILL be good, and will possibly be a great one, but he's only had one start...he'll come back down to earth with the dolphins smothering pass D, with or without Surtain.
