I didn't catch the whole BAL/NE game but I saw Tom Brady able to stand in the pocket and have time to pat the ball numerous times before throwing. He also dinks and dunks everywhere but it works for them so it's okay.

Russell Wilson had several deep balls thrown that were under-thrown. Cam Newton throws an awful pick, another under-thrown deep ball, to Richard Sherman.

Russell Wilson also gets sacked despite mobile b/c when there's pressure in a QB's face it's difficult to always escape.

On several occasions Seattle had 3rd and long and Wilson would throw a 6-7 yd pass that wouldn't result in a 1st down. We always complain on here about short passes that don't get thrown beyond the 1st down markers yet it happens to even the best teams.

I'm not excusing Miami for being lackluster the last 10-15 years. These others teams though sometimes play similar to how Miami plays only they have a higher success rate which masks the similarities.

I noticed they have O'lines that can actually block! Which we actually had before injuries..

I will tell you what stood out to me yesterday.........was that Seattle is one of the best tackling teams I have ever seen. They don't miss tackles and their safeties aren't afraid to be one on one in space.

Watch them next week and you will see what I mean.

Great post bro! :hi5: There is always more than one tackler attacking the ball and they are always looking to force turnovers along with wrapping up for the tackle. There defense had each others back. These are some of key things that our defense is missing.

That stood out to me too, but Carolina tackles pretty well as well. Very few missed tackles in that game.

In the 6 playoff games the winning team is averaging 29 points per game. The lowest score to win was 24.

Yeah, those linebackers for Carolina are pretty special. They were all over the field. Fun game to watch on both sides.

Your right.....the definitely played as a complete unit and didn't play afraid. We can certainly use that type of attitude.

One thing I noticed is that john harbaugh did NOT watch the baylor vs msu bowl game. Smh.

That is what killed this team. Miami needs to find not only smart players on both sides of the ball, but players on defense who can tackle. Landon Collins in the 1st would be a good start.

Eh, the one thing that stood out to me in the game I watched (NE/Baltimore) was just how well coached the two teams are. On offense and defense, you saw them coming up with big plays where the other team had no chance because a coach found something he could exploit and went for the throat.

I think you guys are correct. With all the different schemes it still comes down to blocking , tackling and in game coaching decisions.. We did not do those things well and that's why we are watching not participating.

BB cheating stood out to me as amazing in that he continues to find new ways to do it.

They stew coached that way. Also coached to create turnovers.
