After watching...

I'm happy we won again. was it a great performance from mark? No but he kept us in the game when we had no running game(I thought if our running game failed we had no chance w/ Mark?).

He was his particualrly "nail it down" self when Revis comes up with a pick - runs it another 15 yards into Dallas Territory and Lights Out Marky cannot move the ball but what 2 freaking yards putting it all on the shoulders of the kicker...?

Ya come a long way that guy - Dallas has the weakest Pass D - that AFC will face this year - Rex did the right thing with the screens because of Rob Ryan's full blitzes but give me a break. Even Ryan should have picked up on the Screens to LT.

As it is LT makes Sanchez look like a QB - take him out what ya got...?

Greene what's wrong with that guy?

He never is when he is getting beat ;) - as he was like a drum - he takes his 15 minute walk on his way to the locker room

did we watch the same game? bryant caught ONE pass against him and he shut him down the rest of the game.

An honest Jet fan would admit that the Cowboys gave them that game on a platter.

an honest fan would admit it was a a hard fought game and oth teams made some mistakes. We did give them the ball at the 1 after an INT or does that not count? we did fumble at midfield or does that not count?

The best teams find ways to win games like this, did we play great? absolutely not but we found a way. That's a good sign.

It wasn't a 2010 vintage Sanchez comeback, not getting closer for the FG was disappointmening but Folk made the kick.

Our run game was awful Dallas' D played great. I thought we couldn't win if uour run game was taken away? How did Mark keep us in the game?

An honest Dolphin fan would stop with all this ridiculous "lucky" bull****, and admit what the rest of the country already knows ... the Jets are a very good team. That's why they win ... and that's why they're included in the small group of teams that have a legitimate shot at winning the Superbowl this year ... a group that does not include the Dolphins.

When you step on the field with the Pats tonight, you guys will get a good taste of how far away you really are.

Last years JETS team was by far more talanted - they tried to spenfd there way to the SB - surely you JEST that this years version with 35 yr old retreads is better than last years version - factor in the loss of RT Damien Woody - the opportunity is there for the Phins or the JESTS to take a WC position - esp. with Manning being on the shelf

Brunnell could give you everything Marky gave you last night - I mean the screen was the bread and butter was it not - I wasn't surprised the JESTS won actually and find they play to the level of the competition all last year and turned it up for the POs - and DALLAS is HORRIBLE with or without DEZ - DALLAS' jail house blitz will not take you far in one quarter let alone a full game in this league

so your telling me that revis started out on bryant >? noway bryant was making carmartie look like **** so they tryed revis on him and you could watch revis movements and actions that he didnt want any part of bryant , go back and watch the game because what i saw was bryant taken it to revis i the first half but romo quit throwing to bryant dont know why because the way i see it stay with what is workin , lets put it this way then , bryant caught more against revis than that was broken up

My brain hurts after trying to read your post, bro.

:lol: we suck, just another lucky win.

Do you guys realize that dallas has a new DC, maybe you have heard of him and his family? That may have played a role in our OL looking poor but our O found ways to keep it close and our STs made the difference. A TEAM win by one of the best TEAMS in the league.

I said it last night and I'll extend upon it today: Dallas made some ridiculously stupid mistakes. I won't take the win away from the Jets because they did block that punt for a TD, but let's look at a few things:

Any time somebody would breathe near Romo he would drop on the ground. Obviously that collarbone injury last year is lingering in his mind. He didn't want to get hit.

Whomever calls the plays for Dallas is an idiot. Simply put. 2nd and goal at the Jets two and they call a pass play in which Romo threw it so poorly it is ridiculous. Well, that didn't work, so let's try it *again*. He then scrambles and fumbles. Absolutely Romo's fault and it goes back to the feeling he is afraid to get hit now. However, why they called two pass plays in a row at the two when they could have just tried to punch it in twice, kick a field goal if unsuccessful and be up by 10 in the fourth quarter is just atrocious.

Furthermore, what the hell was Romo thinking on that INT? I mean, really. At the very least you run down the clock, punt the ball and go into overtime. Felix Jones had three receptions in this game. When you're playing the Jets late on your own 41, you don't go after Revis. You put Felix Jones out there and try to let him gain some yards on swing passes, etc.

In short, I won't say the Jets got lucky. But I will say that the Cowboys absolutely helped the Jets pull that win off. The Jets didn't take it from the Cowboys, Tony Romo did.

Like it or not the Jets got the luckier end of the stick in the this game but they capitalized on that luck, good teams do bad teams do not. It would be no different if Miami won the game tonight by playing the same way against NE. The Jets played a good game against a tough team and made few mistakes and then when they had the opportunity they capitalized on the mistakes made by Dallas.

It isn't like Dallas turned the ball over 5x more then the Jets, they each had 3 fumbles apiece and 1 interception, Dallas happened to loose one more fumble, such is life. The other thing that killed Dallas was penalties, the Jets played a clean game and the Boys didn't and the Jets got a huge play out of their special teams. The Cowboys may have lost the game on miscues but the Jets capitalized on the miscues, that is what a good team does.

I have to correct you junc it was not a hard fought game it was a hard fought 3 quarters then the Cowboys laid down and the jets took advantage. Also Sanchez was his normal perplexing self. Looks horrible for a large part of the game then pulls out about 3 great drives. I just can't tell with this guy. The announcers were right when they said he is the opposite of Romo. He is good in the clutch, but average the rest of the time. Obviously that's an over simplification, but it does seem to apply a lot of the time.

all i know is demarcus ware's rediculous...he was getting around guys with speed and quickness after coming off the ball without them ever even laying a hand on him...and then when they started trying to kick out early and overextending he walked them back with the bull rush...hell he even rushed inside at like a dt position and split guys to the qb...by far the best pass rusher in football

freaking phenomenal...

Jets are a good team. Nothing more. They win games in any way possible. Teams have a knack for choking against the Jets, but that still gets them the W. I hate them, they always squeak out wins. The one positive thing that I saw from that game as a Dolfan, is that Cromartie tries sooo hard to be great, but just isn't. When he's facing a physical receiver he looks like a punk. He talks crap all game, but he's the weak side of the D. Revis is a shut down corner for sure. He's nasty, but Cromartie is overrated.

How did they try to spend their way to the SB? 10 of 11 starters on D are back(w/ the lone new one drafted) and on O we have 7 of 11 starters back. Plax didn't look bad last night, right?

Coincidentally i sat next to damien at the game last night.

Did you watch the game? we didn't run enough screens.

Bryant caught ONE ball on revis.

Not surprisingly they attacked Wayne Hunter w/ ware and Hunter couldn't contain him. Ware is incredible.

Yeah he only caught one pass against Revis all night because Bryant was injured the entire game and didn't get targeted after the first quarter. He could barely walk. Revis was getting abused all night by the Cowboys, Ogletree managed to pick up some first downs on Revis. For the best CB in the league he played like crap tonight. I won't even mention Cromartie because he is a joke.

Yeah it was a hard fought game and both teams made mistakes, but don't act like Romo didn't hand you guys the game on a silver platter. This game came down to one play, and Romo threw it to a Dez Bryant who can barely walk being blanketed by Revis with help over the top, the announcers couldn't even figure out what Romo saw on the play and still threw it.

And just for the record Dirty Sanchez played horrendous tonight. I sit and listen to my fellow Dolphins fan call Chad Henne checked down Chad, but they really need to watch Sanchez play, I don't think he threw the ball beyond 10 yards once all night against a Cowboys team playing without their top three corners. Plax played badly, Mason looked old. Holmes and LT was the saving grace of the offense because they somehow managed to take one of Sanchez's two yard throws and turn it into first downs.

Revis didn't play like crap. He had a couple balls caught on him, but if that is playing like crap then Vontae Davis always plays like crap.

You clearly were not watching the game last night.
