After watching...

yeah you called it Hoops. Bryant closed down Revis Island. Revis had to get help over the top because Bryant was taking his lunch money. Of course ESPN said Revis was a star last night because of that pick at the end but most of the night, when Bryant was healthy, he was getting abused.

What exactly is the point? ... Revis can't play??
Or maybe he's so good, this jealous fan base throws a party every time they see someone actually catch a pass against him.
Dez Bryant is a great talent. he can play on my team anytime.
Even if he did abuse Revis ... which he clearly didn't, if you watched the game ... I'll be more than happy watching Revis shut down the other 99.99% of the recievers in the NFL.

The Jets looked horrible. But good teams find ways to win ugly games. call it luck or whatever you want, they're one win closer to their goal.

In our case, if we don't win tonight, we're behind every other team in the division.

I'd take that lucky win every single time.

I wouldn't say horrible(see last year vs. NE & Mia for horrible) but we didn't play well but our guys never stop battling and they find ways to win. This is the complete opposite of the old jets I watched growing up. We used to find ways to lose games the way dallas did, now we find ways to win them.

the thing about sanchez is he still throws too many incompletions for my taste...he misses more than he should underneath and even in the flats...but then he'll make a stick throw down the field for a big play that leaves you like damn that was impressive...he's a hard nut to crack i know that...i feel like i have a gauge on him as a player and then i see the same missed should be made throws every game pretty much i watch him...

he can't be much more than a 55 percent passer for his career and thats not good enough when you have the kind of running game and defense that he has...

To be fair he had no run game and our D stunk last night and he completed 60%.

Ya they did. Sanchez also brought his A game when it counted. Other than the fumble, but he was trying to make a play and it's hard to get too mad about that. I was just pulling my hair out watching the Cowboys let the jets receivers run open for almost the entire 4th quarter. Jets D stepped up big in the 4th as well Romo had no where to go.

The biggest luck thing imo was Witten not getting in on the long pass play. It almost looked like he got tired and gave up. If he would have scored the rest of the game would have been played much differently. Not saying the jets couldn't have still come back, but Romo would not have been pushing so hard and probably would not have turned the ball over twice.

so jim leonard hustling his *** off and keeping witten from scoring is considered luck?

Yes but I believe he was 3/9 for 46 yards in the 4th quarter which is when he normally plays his best. Statistically he had a good game but you know as well as I do he didnt play that well.

To be fair the Cowboys' corners were a MASH unit. When Jenkins and Scanrdrick were playing on the Cowboys' D was fine. When they got hurt and later when Jenkins came back (though he was clearly still hobbled), that's when Sanchez had success throwing. And it still took the D and the Special Teams (and a little Romo magic) to get back in it.

All in all, it was a typical Sanchez "win."

:lol2: I can sum this post up in one word ---IDIOTIC.

U mad? He got abused.

you're not the only one...

I mean how can your job be that easy Ireland and you still screw it up? He plays the draft too cute, in the first round if you have a legit bonafide stud staring at you that can redefine the core of your team don't second guess that *#%#.

my point with sanchez is if he didn't have a top notch running game and elite get off the field defense over the course of the season his lack of accuracy would really show itself...you would think that defense and running game would make things easier for him as far as completing passes but its anything but...he's sporatic (sp???) as hell as a passer...i keep waiting for that part of his game to improve but i've seen the same stuff in that regard for going on 3 years...same ole same ole

I hate the Jets with an undying passion. I hate them because I wish we could get the wins that they do. I don't care if it's luck or whatever, they win. They are an above average team that goes out there and plays hard as **** to sneak away with the wins at the end. They aren't the Patriots who just expect to win every game, and ride Brady's coat tails. They're a team that is full of weaknesses, but they find a way to win.

I don't know if you all heard the stat the commentators said yesterday about the Jets' fumble recovery percentage. The usual average for fumble recoveries in the NFL is about 50%, the Jets have a 70 something % chance that they are at the right place at the right time. Be it instincts, or luck, or coaching, or heart, or anything, they get the the chances and they take advantage of it.

That's what the Dolphins have to do. Talent-wise we are similar to them, but we just can't pull out the win when it counts. Sure we're unlucky a lot, and sure the Jets get lucky a lot, but we have to get lucky at the right time. If we don't pull it together in clutch moments, and have the pieces fall into place at the right time, then say hello 7-9 all over again and good-bye FO.

A little bit yeah. Witten looked like he was tired and kind of gave up at the end. If Witten had went full out for the endzone I don't think Leonard could have stopped him. However that is just my opinion and worth about as much as all the ifs I keep throwing around.
