Taking nothing away from Wake who is a good NFL player ... you can't be serious about that statement. We're not talking about Lawrence Taylor here. There are about 20 Cameron Wakes in the NFL right now, and every year there are new pass rushers leading the league. There's only ONE Revis. he's a Top 10 player in the league on everybody's list (including the player's). I would love to pose the trade to every GM in the league, and see how many of them WOULDN'T make the deal straight up for Revis. I'd say close to zero.

Elite pass rushers are hard to find. The Jest have yet to find one.

The drop off from Revis to Vontae is not great enough for me to want to give up Wake who is one of these hard to find elite pass rusher.

He is great, but the drop off from Revis to Vontae Davis is not enough for me to want to give up a pass rusher as great as Wake.

True elite Pass rushers are hard to find. As a Jets fan you should know this because Rex and Tannenbaum have yet to find you guys one.

Well I just named a bunch of them ... but you're right ... we could use one for sure but we haven't been lucky enough to find one. Very strange when you consider that we're the luckiest team in the history of the league :)

Name them.

Name them.

I just named a bunch of them off the top of my head ... in Post #162. I'm sure I could find a few more if I had every roster in front of me. The guy had ONE very good season. Let's not put him in the HOF just yet. Like I said before ... he's good, but he's not Lawrence Taylor ... and maybe not even Jason Taylor.

So if we win in that fashion tomorrow did we beat the Patriots or did the Patriots beat the Patriots?

If most of the game, the Patriots are beating Miami, Henne is looking very average, (but actually pretty bad realistically), are about to score again, and Brady decides to run it up and Fumbles it?

If the game is tied, there is more then enough time to position the team for a FG, and Brady throws it right into Davis hands.

Then YES, "The Pats Just beat the Pats."

If we beat the pats that will be the least of our worries. I will be afraid to go outside for fear of getting hit by all the pigs flying around. WE AIN'T BEATING THE PATS!!! Get over it already.

Probably only two pass rushers I would take over Wake right now and that is Ware and Matthews.

Wake is still pretty young and was definitely a top 5 pass rusher in this league.

Wake may not end up in the HOF, but he will be elite for at least another few years and I would not trade that when we have a CB as good as Vontae.

Is anyone doing that?

You listed 12 players.

Jared Allen, Clay matthews, Denarcus ware, Dwight Freeny, Julius Peppers, Osi Yumeniora, Mario Williams, Elvis Dumerville, Robert Mathis, Justin Tuck, james harrison, Lamar Woodley

And say you could name more if you tried. Well, I don't agree with every name this list right here, but go ahead and try. Otherwise don't throw out a number like 20.

please...wake was one of the top 5 most consistent pass rushers as far as pressure in the league last year...and unlike many names on that list he didn't have an impact pass rusher on the other side to take off some of the heat...he had peanuts for help...and he didn't have huge leads to just pin his ears back and attack like the colts and steelers guys

Revis is likely the division's best defensive player; probably between Wake and Wilfork for #2.

Plus, he isn't a loudmouth retard like the rest of the team. Tough to not like the guy, even if he is on the Jets...
