Too early? I don't fashion myself so much a Debbie Downer as I do a Reggie Realistic (Such a thing?).

Anyway, if you see this happening, then when?

I predict after the Texans game. A loss to the jets, titans, and Texans. Our 0-8 record against the Texans will seal the deal. But honestly, I could see it earlier.
 
If we lose this game, he's gone at the bye. He should be gone win or lose, but Ross doesn't have the balls to do it without a big loss as an excuse.
 
After the last game of the year.

I think the Fins win Sunday anyway.

anyhow, the worst team (maybe) on the remaining schedule is Titans after the bye. Maybe if they demolish us, Philbins gone.
 
I was going to say during the BYE, but I could just as easily see Ross giving Joe that week to work on fixing and tinkering the staffs plans, since he likes Joe.

The Texans game is a good prediction. If we lose to them it's pretty much a wrap that Joe at the helm is entirely ineffective. Have to install new blood at that point and redeem the roster, so drafting/FA next year will be a more clear approach.

Titans have played substantially better than we have so far this year. There are no easy wins left on the schedule for this coaching staff. Unless there's dramatic improvement we're looking at topping out at a 4 win year if Philbin is retained.

Good point, If there is a loss to the jets, Interim coach would have an extra week to plan for a seemingly winnable game vs. Tennessee. Maybe that's the best time.
 
Mariota could have another one of those games where he has more TDs than incomplete passes against the Dolphins horrible defense.
 
After this Jets game bc the guys will come out even more uninspired than the bills game. They want it to be obvious they are not playing for this coach. Ross is a moron if he doesn't can Philbin and Coyle after the Jets game. Playing early Sunday gives our new coach a few more hours to get acclimated lol
 
End of the year. The whole Harbaugh thing scared Ross from doing anything close to "disrespecting" his coach. Besides you guys are giving Ross WAY to much credit. He has no idea who the good teams are and who the bad teams are. Adding to his confusion is the fact right now the Dolphins look like the worst in the league.

if we play better going into a bye, I think all bets are off.
Doesn't have to be a win or loss, just a better effort.

Do you really think that giving Joe the extra week from the bye to work things out, he will work things out. Damn, this team is so much better in player personnel than what we have had in Philbins previous years, and he still cant get it right.

I was a supporter for years, but I am past that. If we win on Sunday it will save his ass, if we lose, and lose badly, then he must go, And Coyle too.
