Anyway, the highlight of the afternoon session was a beautiful 40-yard completion down the left sideline in which Turner beat Smith despite the fact Smith had excellent coverage and was draped all over him as they went to the ground.

The play showed the athletic ability of the QB, White, in that the deep throw was accurate. It showed the athletic ability of the cornerback who was in good position against a very big receiver. And it showed extraordinary ability and concentration by Turner who not only displayed good hands but the ability to run a deep route

The other fifth-rounder, safety Chris Clemons, is clearly one of the fastest players on the field.

I think we will continue to hear good things about Turner as this summer goes on......on another note I just heard on the news the Cowboys practice facility crashed to the ground with the players and team in it........Thats messed up......I hope they are all ok

They just showed the facility on the news. Half of it was destroyed. But they said there were no players/rookies/coaches inside during its collapse. They did say, however, that four other staffers were hospitalized with injuries.

I wonder if there's a clip of ElMoron Kiper and McNay razzing the Turner pick. If so, I look to using it as a sig by sometime in November.

I think Turner's going to be a pretty good player for us. I realize it's only Mini-Camps and all, but I really like his potential.

CNN says 7 injured, one critical.

CK didnt like the Turner pick either, dont forget to razz him.

It's a little soon for razzing the draft picks. A couple of days at rookie camp is no basis for determining their value.

Very true, see Brian Manning. Every year in training camp he looked like the next superstar and yet never carried it over into the regular season.

if you actually have to conduct the draft the decisions are hard

if you only have to sit there shout "reach" and "steal" its pretty easy

if you can't trade down its only a reach when the player fails

if the Patriots had nabbed Brady in the 4th round, the Hair would have blown his top. these guys are like a civil engineering professor who is teaching because a bridge he built collapsed

Chris Clemons in the 5th was a steal and a half. Dude is a stud. He'll be a starter here sooner than you expect.

I look at the draft like the WSOP we see on ESPN everyday. The announcers and commentaries talk like they are the professionals and chastise the pros moves. They usually call out the obvious but wait until you are in that situation. I don't want to be a GM where every move me be your last. Who wants that kind of pressure. The "Experts" can kiss my a**.
