Yeremiah Bell won’t return to the Miami Dolphins, according to his agent. Drew Rosenhaus made the comments Sunday night on his weekly television appearance on WSVN. He also said Bell has received interest from the New York Giants, New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles. Last month, Rosenhaus talked about Bell’s release on the Joe Rose Show. He expressed his concern with the timing of Bell’s release from Miami.Bell, 34, started all but one game the past four seasons for Miami. The former team captain led the Dolphins in tackles the past four seasons including 107 tackles in 2011. In eight seasons with the Dolphins, Bell had 433 tackles, 11 sacks, 43 pass deflections, nine forced fumbles and six interceptions.http://blogs.sun-sentinel.com/sport...emiah-bell-wont-return-to-miami-dolphins.html

why would he return makes no sense , he offered to restructure and they cut him.

Loved Bell, but he is old and definitely slowing down. I wanna see what Rashad Jones can do at SS.

with the signing of T. Johnson, I'm pretty sure the fins pulled their offer to Y. Bell off the table. They asked him to restructer, he didn't, so they cut him and offere dhim another contract that he's been sitting on, he took to long and the Fins moved on.

Now we have like 5 safeties (6 if you count Marshall) all battling for 2 starting spots, I also believe i read on kffl this staff wants our safties to be more versitile and be able to play both safety spots, Y. Bell doesn't fit that mold, he's a SS all the way.

Bell definitely slowed down and became a liability vs the pass, but he gave 100% and I wish him well wherever he goes. Unless that's to NY or NE of course.

Bell had been a solid player and a good locker room guy, but he's in no way irreplacable. I wish him well, but this is the way you manage a roster- cut the old guys with their inflated salaries, before they have lost too much, and develop your younger up and coming guys.

No, no they didn't. Where did you hear this? They cut him THEN made an offer explaining the details. Off the top of my head I believe it to be 1 year/2 million.

actually you got it backwards Bell offered to restructure before he was cut and im pretty sure since then has had no interest in returning. Except for possibly moving Marshall to safety which I pray we do our safeties look no better than last year.

No, they didn't. Not a single source has yeremiah bell offering to restructure. Stop the misinformation please.

Miami cut him, then offered him a 1 year contract. There are MULTIPLE sources for this. I don't make up facts.

of course after they cut him they offered a contract but earlier in offseason he was told that he would not be cut and wouldnt be asked to restructure, thats when the offering to restructure came up.
I have no problem cutting Bell I do have a problem spending good money on a player that has underperformed throughout his career (Richard Marshall) instead of a good tackle like Winston.
I have no reason to pass misinformation but of course people will always believe that the dolphins treated all players quite well and its always the bad players

translation, we want a young hungry defense, im all for it. Bell was good for us but every old dog has his day, glad we want to get younger on both sides of the ball.
