Why does everyone hate drew Rosenhaus. We should all hate Todd France (Ronnie's agent), he's held out more players than Drew.

Another classic. Todd France is relatively new to the business and out of his 3 players picked in the 1st only 2 are not signed now.

Drew= :sr23:

France is new, so he might be another Rosenhaus, but Drew has added to his reputation as one of the most hated agents through the years by constantly demanding more money for his players, and his players threatening to not play if they don't get raises.

Well I really have nothing bad to say about Drew either. All he does is what his clients ask him to do and what is in their best interests, if he suggests to player that holding out is the best wasy to negotiate. Thats the players fault if he goes along with it.

Javon Walker needed more money he only got 390,000$ last year. Bret Favre should have kept quiet because he already made his money. Javon Walker is a top receiver and deserves to get paid more. http://asp.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/salaries/playerdetail.aspx?player=2391

The funny thing is that it's always Drew's players that play hardball. In the last 5 years, if you look at all the players that have threatened to hold out, you'll notice that a high percentage of them are Drew's players, which would lead you to believe that he puts the ideas in their heads.

yeah but few of them actually held out. I would be more pissed off at Bryan Westbrook who held out without than TO for threatening to holdout but showed up

I agree with you on that, but they are grown men. They could say no I want to do what is best for the team, not just myself. I don't personally begrudge them on either stance. This league is a business and that is the nature of this business.

Brett Favre is only good at throwing high passes over the middle to his receivers. Hasn't anyone ever noticed that no receiver there has had any longevity. Whatever Walker wants he should get, you only have like a 3 year window of opportunity with Favre passing to you before you get your career ended by some free safety.

Favre also throws plenty of interceptions

This isn't about Farve. He stated his opinion on the matter and he has the right to do that. Would you tell Marino to shut up if say McDuffie was holding out and Marino said he should be in camp?

It may also be that when players are in this situation, they seek out an agent like Drew because he handles himself well. Lots of players apparently switch to Drew like TO did.

if McDuffie was only getting paid 390,000, then yes i would but Marino never did anything as stupid by as minding another player's contracts. They say thats an underlying rule in the NFL, not to mess with other people's contract.

:up: Yeah I should've pointed that out too. Good point.
