Just wondering if anyone else agrees that he could be our drake in 2018!! He just needs to be given playing time, I only hear good things about him. Good hands, runs a 4.67 , he 6"5 250. Had a azing one hamded grab for a touch down playing for Denver. There's to many before andnnkw players who always had the skills but was never given a chance. This kid will shock a lot of people and I think case knows it

The team is very excited about this guy. Gase was randomly talking about him at the combine. With that said, if Andrews or Hurst is there in round 2, I would take one of them.

He looked more impressive to me in the few snaps he got than 2017 Julius Thomas, IMO. He is a converted QB I believe.
Yep, at iowa, he wasnt a very good qb, so coach ferentz wanted him to switch to te. He transferred to Arkansas and beilma switched him to te.

My crazy idea is to draft Brian O'Neil and use him as a blocking TE and swing tackle. Trade Ju'wuan James and go with Sterup,Eric Smith or Jesse Davis at RT; and if Tunsil doesn't improve this year, we have an ace in the hole.

Some have him going early 3rd round. I would guess a late 2nd gets him.

I would still draft Gesicki if at all possible. He is a singular talent rarely, if ever seen. TE's with his athleticism are usually shorter or more undersized.

I think Gesicki will add about 12 pounds and still be able to maintain his elite athleticism. His blocking is non-existent, he just wasn't used that way. He will be starting almost from scratch in that department.

How could the Dolphins get Mayfield,Vanderesch,Gesicki, and O'Neil along with a top RB?? Would mean Tannehill,James, and Landry all were traded for good value. Like I said crazy dream.

Gesicki is basically a stronger, more athletic version of Mike Evans. Blocking or not, line him up in the slot or outside and create mismatches.

Red Zone target with that vertical and the way he high-points the ball? Fugetaboutit.

Gesicki: 6'5 247, 34" arms, 10.1" hands, 4.54 40, 22 reps, 41.5" vert, 6.76 3 cone,
Evans: 6'5 231, 35" arms, 9.6" hands, 4.53 40, 12 reps, 37" vert, 7.08 3 cone,

I think IF derby gets a chance he will surprise. But that's IF. This guy has the ability to have a break out year. He is very talented. even if he is a 2 and we draft one of the studs in the draft, we will potentially have a good 1 2 punch at the position. which is what ryan and this offense desperately need
