A.J. Feeley continues to improve as the second unit's passing attacked appeared more in sync than the first team led by Gus Frerotte. Feeley seemed to mesh with WR Bryan Gilmore on several plays. He also hooked up with WR Danny Farmer on a long post pattern. Third-string Sage Rosenfels hit demoted TE Donald Lee with at least three passes. Lee, who has been prone to dropping passes, is working on his concentration, looking the ball into his hands instead of running before he has it. Frerotte overthrew several receivers but did find reliable WR Wes Welker over the middle in front of perturbed LB Junior Seau.

I guess his limited success was something to build on, but he's still with the 2nd string..

I don't even care who our QB is until we draft one on the first day.

Makes no sense, since we know all those 1st day QBs have found success in the NFL.

I don't care anymore, we have to start putting some effort into drafting a young QB. There has been no one in the system for years. And you know that for as many first day flops there are first day successes. It makes no sense starting that tired old yarn.

AJ Feeley is coming around. We all knew he could throw the ball. Now he's working on the little things and is feeling more comfortable in the new offense as each day goes by. Remember, he's working with the second team receivers.

Also, I'm starting to get a little worried about Ferrotte. I mean I know he can throw it too, but he's starting to show some inconsistency.

When it's all said and done (by season's start) I believe you'll see Feeley in there as the starter and ferrotte the number 2.

I agree 400%.

Am I the only one who has never heard the saying starting that tired old yarn? That is a new one for me.

Wow... 30yrs old, and you've never heard that? In fact, I always though it originated in the New England area....

1)Cut Feeley for cap room
2)Focus on the run and play our young guys to get NFL experience
3)Try to pick up as many FIRST ROUND DRAFT PICKS as possible
because it is SO DEEP
4)Draft a QB(Like Omar Jacobs Matt Leinart Vince Young)
5)Draft a T(Like Marcus McNeil D'Brickashaw Ferguson Jon Scott Eric Winston)
6)Draft a OLB(Like Ahmad Brooks Chad Greenaway AJ Hawk)
7)Draft a CB(Like Jimmy Williams Antoinio Cromartie)
8)Draft a strong d-lineman(Mathias Kiwi)

Obviously we can't pick up all that talent but let's bulid strong for the future.Put in Crowder Moore McMichael Brock Berlin Brown Welker Manuel Wright Travis Daniels Matt Roth.We already have the best player from last years draft(Brown)and two steals in Will Poole and Randy McMichael. We are young and talented.Keep building Fins!

I was hoping Saban would name AJ the starter for the Bucs game and let him work with the 1st String all week as Gus had the chance to do last week. I still think we would be smarter this season going with the upside potential since we are obviously rebuilding. I say give AJ all the reps he can get with the 1st stringers and see what he can do.
