On today's NFL Network AJ is interviewed, and he said the one linebacker that he looks up to, and who he studies film on is Zach Thomas. He said if he could do half the stuff that Zach does he would be happy. He said Zach is every where on the field. Just thought I would share that. It is towards the end of the show.

Good to hear some of the young guys coming up giving Zach some props. It's gotta make Zach feel good to hear that from an up and comer. 90% of the time you hear young LBs mention Ray Lewis or Urlacher. Zach is just as consistent and effective as those two guys but doesn't get as much notoriety for some reason. I'd be willing to bet Zach likes to hear that from the young guys more so than his veteran "peers".

yea agreed i think its cool that aj hawk is giving credit to zach he deff deserves it...too bad we wont b able 2 draft aj hawk at 16 so he could play along side his ideal

man I dunno, Peyton Manning called him the smartest guy out there, that's pretty high praise. I'll bet Zach liked that one.

AJ was pretty jacked about Zach and if he could live up to his example he has put on the field.

our guy Channing has had good things to say also. I don't think Zach is an overwhelming gifted player, I think he prepares himself into one of the best.

Agreed like no other. When they were in San Diego, all the players came to Seau's but Zach and Lemon. They boys that got autographs and met the players, said Zach was back in the room with Lemon going over the Chargers calls on Offense. That is All Star quality right there.

Zach deserves all the props given to him. He is vastly underrated.

First young LB ive heard in a while giving props to Zach....
WELL DESERVED! the guy is so complete!

man ill tell you what if he is there at #16 i would pull the trigger on him he is going to be a great lb for years to come.man it would be great for zach to groom him wow what a lb core that would be awesome if you ask me forget ray.lewis....

Ahhhhhhhhh yeah, you got me there. Yeah, having Manning say something like that was a huge compliment

Aj definatley has more god given skill than zack but Zack has the motor of all motors, plus he is a smart player. I like that AJ had those good comments, just hope he isnt a JET.
