Ajax Designated For Return

i think he can play Sunday if he's ready to go.

thanks for doing whatever you did, for however long you did it, Greg Little!
Yeah besides the one play last week where he just stands there watching Skylar get mauled. He was 5 feet away and just stood there and watched it happen. The tv remote almost got air born.

Kinda think they will wait another week before he plays, but I'd be happy to rush him back out at this point.

Odds are pretty high Tua might be back for the Steelers game, so getting Jackson out there as early as possible, and try to get rid of any rustiness, while showing the coaching staff he can handle the right side (Which happens to be the most important side with Tua) might be the smart thing to do.

One way or the other, the coaching staff needs to start putting together a line the can count on, if Miami is going to do anything this season.

First, I believe this is from Wednesday but either way, he'll probably be active this week though he might not start. Also, we don’t really know how good or bad he'll be. They did well in pre season but he's only played 14 snaps in the opener so we don’t really know how he'll do. Having said that, I don’t think he can be any worse than Little.

I've said over and over that this should have already been done during the off-season. But apparently, they felt that just adding Armstead and Williams and starting Eichenberg and Jackson was good enough. They were wrong. The bad news is that there's really nothing they can do about the line this year, unless they have back-up linemen on the roster who can play better than one of the starters (which is within the realm of possibility), or they can find someone elsewhere. The good news is that after seeing the pressures, hits, and injuries already suffered by the QBs this year, maybe McDaniel will realize that fixing the o-line is not just something to be discussed, it's a top priority. Also, maybe he'll see that using Gesicki to help block is a bad idea.

Something to keep in mind here. We got several free agents this past off season. Two of them like you said were O-line guys.....hard to get 5 new guy up front in one off season. Also, we only have 4 picks in the draft and none before late in the 3rd round. I'm not giving up on Ajax and Eich just yet as they're both playing a new position this year. The O-line has been better than it was last year other than when the injuries hit. Little already starting at RT and then Armstead went down so you has to get Shell out there. Not a whole lot of options at that point.

We needed to sign 3 lineman. Gesicki and Wilson were poor fits, and their money is a complete waste.
