Ajayi and LaMike James are both 22?

I was shocked when I noticed LaMike James and Jay Ajayi are both 22 years old despite this being James 4th season in the league. By comparison James is also two years younger than Lamar Miller and five years younger than Tannehill, who is also entering his fourth season.

I realize James is several months older than Ajayi, but I'm still amazed to think he was drafted at age 18?

Disregard the entire post, I think ESPN and the NFL info is incorrect and James is actually 25.

Yea ive always been amazed that a few players manage to enter the league so damn young and others are 24

That seems odd....players are required to be out of highschool for a certain amount of time before they can enter the NFL (which is why freshmen and sophomores don't enter the draft)

I suspect LaMike's age is incorrect

Wikipedia shows LaMike's age as 25.

Lamichael James is 25 not 22

He is 25. Both NFL and ESPN are incorrect on the year. He was born 10/22/1989 not 1992. He played three years at Oregon and has been in the NFL for three years.
