Starting to feel like Philibin is in charge.
What blocking?I think after this move, Drake will likely run the ball the way the blocking is drawn up. :laugh
I guess I will be the minority opinion on this one. I saw this news this morning and I just said "Huh? Okay." You had to figure this was going to happen after the coach called him out explicitly in a press conference stating that he kept losing yards trying to bounce runs outside for a home run instead of following blocking that was there and helping the team get first downs.
We had a historically bad offense through 7 games with Jay Ajayi as our starting RB. Our offense is probably still going to be historically bad without him. It might be worse. Hey, that's a better draft pick!
Wtf... hasn't the criticism with Drake been that he's always trying to hit the home run as well?
For real... This guy keeps talking about Ajayi not following his blocking but Baltimore dominated the point of attack and there was immediate disruption on almost every play. There's a reason Ajayi has to eke out every yard after contact. What blocking?
Ozzy rules!!
Landry has to go. His sideline antics this year are ridiculous. He has become a cancer for the team as well. No matter how good or how bad you are once you become a distraction in the locker room you are out. Plus he was unwilling to renegotiate.I like this trade, Ajayi is a beast but at the end of the day he has a knee condition and the later he gets in his contract the tougher he will be to move...if we trade Landry on the other hand I will lose my ****.
The Miami Herald's Armando Salguero reports the Dolphins are shopping Jarvis Landry ahead of the trade deadline.
Miami has already moved Jay Ajayi to the Eagles, and they could be looking to make another splash. With Landry in the final year of his deal and the Dolphins in no hurry to sign him to a big extension, a trade makes some sense, but it would further weaken an already terrible offense. Miami has until 4 PM ET today to work out a trade.
