They couldn't even spring a trade for a competent, promising OL in exchange for Ajayi? Come the **** on! A 4th for a pro bowl RB is an absolute travesty.

Ajayi wasn't having the best year, and he was never going to be Czonka, but this not only throws the towel in on this season (which I understand), but what the hell are they doing for next year? Yet another hole that has to be patched up, and given the way this team drafts, it's hardly a given that the job is going to get done right.

Honestly, why the hell not get rid of Suh? This team has a QB coming off of major knee surgery who's a total question mark, an OL in shambles, and now nobody to run the ball. You think Landry's going to stick around for this?

Unless Ajayi flat out refused to play, or sexually harassed someone, or something equally crazy, this was a stupid move.

I don't get most of the people on this board. Last week we were saying how Gase HAS to clean up the locker room and if guys don't want to play the way Gase wants that they should be cut or shipped out. It is very clear that one of the main culprits (at least according to Gase) was Ajayi. We got our wish.

I actually do not mind the trade. The guy has a shelf life with his knees. He was a locker room distraction. He didn't run plays properly. This season is a lost season anyway. Might as well suck more and get better draft picks and see what we have in Drake.

You make it work with talent. You make it work with pro bowl running backs who can pull three 200 yard games out of their a$$ with a poor offensive line.

Ajayi makes Philly a super bowl contender the way Wentz has been playing and leading that philly team. lmaooo goddam this franchise sucks.

Is that not typical of a Tannenbaum trade though? Sell low, buy high. We get a 4th round pick for a pro bowl running back but give up a 5th for a linebacker that can't get on the field.

Yeah, right. I'm sure Gase was blind-sided. "Hello, Adam? Hey, I just got a 4th for Ajayi." "WHAT????" Let's don't pretend this was TBaum making a bad trade.

You've got to keep in mind that Ajayi has a knee condition that is going to limit his career. I'm surprised we got a 4th rounder for him.

That's really just speculation. He hasn't shown any signs of it being an issue yet. We'd get more value running him into the ground for a couple years than what will be one of the last picks in the 4th.

Glad to see tricking Stephane Anthony has about 10 draft slots less value than ajayii according to us.

About 75 of the 568 players drafted in the fourth round in the league between 2004 and 2015 have become long-term starters.

In other words, there's a 13% chance of obtaining a long-term starter in the fourth round.

And of course that says nothing about the probability of obtaining a Pro-Bowler.

Wait until we see what he does in Philly, happy for him, just extended his career

Come on down Saquon Barkley!!!

Really disappointed we only got a 4th for Ajayi. He is a big play back with poor blocking and a shaky knee. Definitely a risk for a team, but he has had some monster games. I could see him doing well in Philly. Would have hoped for at least a 3rd. Shame this could not have been worked out though and Ajayi was kept. Gase once again asserting things will be done his way. Get on board or you're gone.

what's next today? Parker for 5th? I'm speechless. gase is a wreckless monger who I am starting to wonder if team hates him and purposely lost so bad 40-0 to shove it up gases heine.

When I saw the headline, I was hoping we got a third round pick. Only problem with the fourth is that it is a late round 4th.

When is Ajayi rookie contract up? If done this year perhaps they really did not want to pay him.
