He said he is fine.
May be an A/C joint.
Said he will be ready to play next week

Fingers crossed. Lots of players say they're fine ... doesn't mean they're fine. It's crunch time for Ajayi ... literally.

If we clinch tomorrow do we rest Jay next week? Williams and Drake can do good things for us.

Although Drake had a great run, he still doesn't seem like a threat in between the tackles....kid needs a lot of work, but I am glad he is on the team, getting reps, and contributing.

If the Broncos lose, we do not play Ajayi against the patriots.

Rest him! Though a 5 seed definite makes for an easier path to the Super. Bowl. Texans and a Carr-less Raiders could be the path with the AFC Champisonship in New England. [emoji50]

I'd much prefer going to Houston for the WC game. Unless Ajayi is critically injured he is important next week.

If the 3 seed wins WC game, the 5 seed would play NE.

I doubt they rest him if the 5 seed is still in play.

I don't know about "a lot of work". Drake has uncanny and deceptive speed with subtle moves. I'd like to see him take on 15-18 carries to see how he measures up.

BTW, absolutely ZERO lost fumbles from this group of RBs!!!

Put this in the other thread but..

Depending on grade of AC joint sprain, could play thru and not miss time.

Jay Ajayi has a left shoulder AC joint issue.

He was Instgramming after the game all hyped up so he doesn't seem to be in bad spirits

It all depends on what happens tomorrow night with KC vs Denver. Playing Houston in the WC round would be nice, but I think I would rather have the Dolphins a guaranteed spot in the playoffs tomorrow with a Denver loss. If that doesn't happen, there is a chance we could not make it.
