I decided last week when I first heard the news of Jay being left behind, to give him the benefit of the doubt without understanding the whole story. I have to say today's article in the Palm Beach Post really disappoints me and makes me question this players maturity. I was semi-excited about seeing his reckless power approach to running last preseason and disappointed in not being able to see him much after the rib injury, but let's be honest, he was less than impressed this preseason and then that fumble.

Anyway, what's pushing me this way is his lack of owning the actions that got him left behind in week one. Or at least being transparent enough so we could understand his motivation right or wrong. Personally I can't fathom a valid excuse other than, "I was immature, and reacted poorly. I've learned from my mistakes and will be a better player for."

Anything less just proves to me he learned nothing and he's a big baby. One thing this team does not need at this time. I hope I'm wrong and he becomes a productive player for years to come. If not, screw it I'll take my chances with next year's draft.

Meh I just want him to run the ball well. Nothing else matters

I concur with your point, but what I questioning and worrying about is his integrity. At this level I doubt you get one without the other. Personally I want to see him succeed. This was never an issue with this position during the 70s and 80s.

He has discussed it with those that matter. As Gase said clean slate. Don't really care if he addresses it with Mando or whomever.

Its in the past. I don't think talking about it would help. He needs to focus on the future.

He needs to grow the f up but lets see what happens. Its not like he is Dion Jordon who is still on the team for multiple idiocies

Ajayi on the football field mad is probably a good thing, considering he's a violent styled running back to begin with.

No point in talking about it now and he clearly wants to move past it.. yeah the answers are kind of annoying but whatever

Translation- I really am not that good of a RB, I have a destroyed knee, I have quickly reached finheaven legend status, I will go the way of Danielle Thomas with similar career stats, now I have shown to be a head case.

Conclusion- We were tannebombed thinking this guy could carry load and letting Miller walk

To be fair, the plan was to pick up CJ Anderson and we didn't make quite an aggressive enough offer to keep Denver from matching it.

These guys are required to talk to media and why should he answer something that is only gonna be spun negatively against him?

I hope Ajayi either runs for over 100 yards up in new england this week or that he shows that he really sucks. I don't want to see flashes one way or the other. I want him to either prove or disprove what he can or can not do. It's amazing how many people on this board make up their mind about a player just on one game play or in this case, a game he wasn't active for.On the pre season there were tons of posters saying Mario was done and he sucks and now everyone is hoping he'll play on sunday cause of how bad we need it. The rollercosters at Disney have nothing on some of the posters here.....lol

Ozzy rules!!
