Why isn't he calling the plays, his offenses have history of creative havoc on a defense and producing BIG numbers on the score board

I'm guessing he didn't want his name associated with this dumpster fire.

Maybe Lazor didnt listen? Wonder if that was part of the reason he was tossed and the clueless one was promoted? Just sayin....

He's been here for three weeks maybe? I wouldn't want to attach my name to a failed offensive system that isn't mine either. He can't install his own system.

He came in as a consultant to Lazor; not an OC or even Asst. OC. He was simply paid to come in, drop some knowledge, and carry on.

If we clean house or semi clean house, I would hope we could still keep him around

I also believe this. And I think Tannenbaum and Co wanted to see if Lazor could sink his own ship. In the wake of Lazor's self-implosion, you have to at least credit the FO with giving some young coaches a harmless opportunity to showcase their potential talents to future employers. Let's face it, Dan is about the only coach in the building with a remote shot to stick around. Simply due to his Parcells' coaching tree roots. Everybody else is history. Simple guilt by association. We are weeks away from every office been cleared out and a new regime moving in.

I don't see any realistic way for Dan to stay; simply to unify the future locker room under the new coach.

While I would like to see a competent and experienced OC leading our team, its simply too late for that discussion. All of these coaches and players are auditioning for their next job. Frankly, as long as the team can have fun playing and no one gets hurt I think we as fans can appreciate these guys just need to play for themselves and enjoy what's left of this season. Have fun, call it what it was and move on. It's time to look ahead to next year.

At least we have the luxury of a high draft position, some returning talent and the optimism that we are finally done with Philbin and Co. At this point, a new start is better than the what we've had. Time to put on the rose colored glasses and hope once again. Let's hope we start with the right first decision. Get an experienced and proven staff and FO. Everything else will fall into place.

Let's go get some real football people.

He was not hired to call plays or be the OC.

Anything Parcell's should be avoided at all costs. What has Parcells ever done for this team except **** it up even more. He stuck it to Huizenga and walked out with a pocket full of money. He is a piece of ****.
Had I had the ability, I would have went to the hall of fame and heckled his induction.
I hate that piece of ****. I have no idea how anyone can think he is anything but a loser and scum bag.

If he's good and they succeed then that means Miami finishes 8-8 or 9-7 and in the middle of the pack in the draft. That isn't ideal.
