Cant wait to see this guy on the field. I think he will be the best pick of this draft for us other than Tua.
This was a nice value pick, will be interesting to see if he can stay on the field all 3 downs.

Raekwon Davis was a kid that looked like he could be Richard Seymour 2.0 after his freshman year. Two (statistically) disappointing seasons later we drafted him at the end of the 2nd round. A lot of people felt he was a reach pick. However, I think he will play a major role in our defense. Wilkins, Godchaux and Davis give us a solid, young, front in our 3-4 sets.
Between him and other front 7 guys we added who are run stoppers first it will hopefully free up Wilkins to pressure the QB. He played his best ball at Clemson lined up next to Dexter Lawrence eating up double teams in the middle.

R. Davis is physically ready to stop the run and needs to be double teamed. He is insurance against godchaux leaving in FA. Stopping the run is a big objective this year.
I hope Godchaux has a good year and stays in Miami.
I really like him, and our draft class. Most of these guys seem like they have a very high ceiling. I hope we can see him perform something like 2017, and of course playing the run well too.
Godchaux had a good year in 2019, only problem is he is one dimensional along with Raekwon McMillan both will start and play 1st down and if they do they jobs well there off to the bench and nickel defense is in. 20-25 years ago both would of been stars in the league.
Dolphins do really mirror Patriots defense they will get players who not only are great run stoppers but can push the pocket and in McMillian case blitz and cover, it's a defense that values versatility in it's players.
