The Titans coach HINTED that Haynesworth may never play for the Titans again...i realize what he did was cruel and stupid...but the guy is young and good...do u think the Dolphins may bring him in if he is released...he HAS TO be cheap now.

Secondly...i think we missed out on a lot when we got rid of Kyle Turley...he's been starting at Kansas City at Left Tackle (a position we need). He's doing pretty well, says KC fans.

NO WAY should we take haynesworth i dont want that piece of junk on our team trying to fight his own team mates. but yes i do think we should have got turley in the offseason we could sure have used him with our offensive line in the shape that it is. but we do not need haynesworth at all no chance!!!!

Turley didn't want to play tackle when we had him in. He wanted to play TE because it kept him at a lower weight and took stress off his ailing back, for which he missed two seasons.

And sure enough, he missed last week's game with a back problem and his questionable this week with the same issue.

I think the reason he's playing OL in KC is because he couldn't play TE anywhere else. Plus, it's somewhat of an honor to play on that line, with Will Shields and Brian Waters.

As for Haynesworth, he's pretty much exactly what Nick Saban looks for in a DT. Big and athletic. Disruptive. He's a lot like Manny Wright (obviously more experienced and developed). And like Wright he's got his issues. Those long-standing issues.

That said, I wouldn't rule out Nick taking a long look at him. With our age inside, I wouldn't be at all surprised. Nick has no problem with reclamation projects or giving talented players another chance. I'm sure there'd be a lot of behavioral and out clauses in his contract if he signed here.

My initial reaction to reading what Fischer and Reese are saying, is that it's just tough talk while the issue is hot....they keep leaving an out everytime they say "we'll make the decision about him when his suspension is up." That, to me, says they are waiting for everything to cool off, and the embarassment to subside, before they "bring him back" into the fold.

They know how important a player he is to that defense, and he's young too!?! C'mon, if there's any position on the team where you'd want a guy that has that kind of attitude, it's right there a DT.

They aint gonna do nothing but keep feeding him raw meat and gun powder until they can turn him loose again.

Kyle Turley isnt what he used to be, and he's not what Saban and Houck look for in terms of build for an O-linemen. Right now he is really undersized, and having back problems as it is.

Haynesworth is a possibility. Saban hasnt been shy about looking into troubled players, and he is a quality talent at a position of need.

We don't need another DT. As for Turley, what did we miss? He's got back problems and is already missing game time. Can't play NFL football with back problems.

Yes, we do need another DE/DT like Haynesworth.

Kevin Carter is 33 years old.

Vonnie Holliday is 31 years old, a free agent next year and would probabaly be better as a rotational player at this point. He's a hot and cold player.

Behind them, we've got Matt Roth, heir apparent to Carter.

Kevin Vickerson has shown nothing other than being just another guy, Jeff Zgonina is a short term fix.

OK, well, it never hurts to try and upgrade, but, what I was thinking is that this is really the last position on our team that needs help. We've already got Bowens, Roth, Vickerson and Evans BACKING UP some really good, albeit old, players. We really need some OFFENSIVE LINEMAN, SAFETIES, AND A REAL QB WOULDN'T HURT EITHER. But I see your point.

No, and No. Haynesworth is scum, don't want him on my team, or ANY team for that matter. He shouldn't even be allowed to play football after what he did. Turley had a shot here, we don't need him any more now than we did when we cut him.

from the looks of it, we COULD use Turley now, lol. And i realize Saban looks for the big fat massive guys...but i always said, those massive meat eaters get slow and lazy easily. Yea maybe they are intimidating, but after 3 plays they are pooped.

And i seriously dont see that we need anymore DL...but someone like Haynesworth who is talented, maybe we could use him. We all know Evans and Wright can play...we havent seen what Rod Wright can do yet. Vickerson is our 4th young DT altho id rather see him go to DE. Roth is a DE...Zgonina, Wilkinson, Traylor, Holliday, Bowens, Taylor...im sorry but thats too many Defensive linemen...we have some big names but we still arent winning. At the end of the season, id like to see some of those names get released to save money.

I'll bet KC is thinking the same thing....

Zgonina and Traylor won't be back next year (too old) and neither will Kevin Carter because of his cap number (and he too is getting old). We need more talented youth infused into the d-line. Haynesworth can be a beast!!!!

 that actually made me laugh

Anyway

As terrible as what Haynesworth did is, the guy is a monster on the inside. So if he can behave I would definitly take him
