Alex Holmes still remains on the roster...

If only I minced my words into a bet, I'd be collecting a bit of money right now...

Namely, Mr. Nublar, I do remember you telling me in the gameday chat room that Alex WOULD BE CUT......Well, at least you can post news well ;)

Ah, the sweet scent of being correct!

I was surprised.I thought Holmes would be cut over Lee both TEs with bad hands. But I guess the coachs thought that Lee was a lost cause because of all the opportunities he has been given compared to Holmes who just had one bad game.

Well, with Diamond playing the best of alll our te's during the preseason, it came down to Holmes or Lee for the final spot. I still think somewhere down the line, Lee could become a player. He just has too many lapses in concentration. I'm glad to keep a guy like holmes who also has some upside, rather than pick up a mediocre veteran for experience.

I like Holmes' emotion and the fact that McMichael seems to like him.

He's also a really nice dude.

Holmes stuck because his ability to get open.

Now if he could control his hands a bit better and catch the ball he will be a good 3rd or 4th TE.

If we add a guy from waivers, we cut a guy from the roster. Rosters are not set yet.

Holmes also was considered one of, if not the best, blocking TE in the recent draft.

I know Bush and White ran behind and around him a few times last year.

 I heard the same thing about Lee. I can't remember who said it though.
