Alex Holmes

I've seen a lot of USC games over the years and Holmes can catch and get out and block....not really tall but good weight and he can back up McMike...hope he makes the team.
 
He might not be real tall but he is taller then Lee. Lee stunk last year with his play. He needs to be replaced. I feel Holmes can easily take his roster spot and contribute to this team in a good way. Lees contributed to the team always in bad ways. Penalties, fumbles, bonehead

not true. Miami would have to sign another tight end for that to happen. Judging from what Saban has said about his and Linhen's offense, they both like using a lot of tight ends

McMichael, Holmes, Lee, Perry.

BTW, I like Donald, he is a great blocker. Just needs to get his head in games... his learning disorder obviously doesnt help him.

Perry is not a tight end, he is a long snapper. If Miami does run a lot of 2 tight end sets they will need at least 3 real tight ends. I would imagine they would need 4 of them, or maybe an H-back type player would work.
 
that's true.

Kleinsasser was classes more as a FB than a TE in Minny.
 
I wrote a thread about him about 10 days ago.... Great pick-up in my eyes; low risk, high character, high IQ, high-end results!!!

what about the other TEs we brought in? they have zero shot of making the team?
