alex smith is a guy whos going to have to develop some thick skin. hes not going to light it up this year. in fact hes probably gong to appear to be down right horrible. The niners have no WR's and the line isn't very solid. Smith is going to have growing pains. Let me emphasize the word PAIN. Niners fans will have to be patient. but then again. with the deal he signed, i guess they should be expecting a Roethlisberger season out of him.
