Alexander, Matthews cut

I guess that means Culver is probably safe.

I think they might keep him this year and give him the benefit of the doubt. I mean he has been a pretty solid back-up for the majority of his time here.

We should keep restelli and cut culver.

X2

Has anybody even bothered to watch Restelli. He is making good reads and ends up being around most plays. He is extremely athletic -- did anybody notice how high he got off the ground on the play at the end of the game in defending a pass? He does not quit on a play and does not take plays off. The bottom line is that Restelli will get better and I think that we have already seen the best that Culver has to offer. PLUS he saves the team around a million in salary. This one should be a no-brainer -- if he does not make the final 53 then he at least deserves the practice squad.

I expect us to put Restelli on the practice squad. If we don't then some team will.

You are correct -- if he is not at least on the practice squad, he will be playing someplace else and that is playing -- not watching. Just for the heck of it I did a Twitter search on him and found out that the team that he played for the last two years -- the Edmonton Eskimos -- actually had blog comments including one from the Edmonton Eskimo radio color man (Dave Campbell) that Restelli was expected back there later this week. Then when Restelli was not cut on Tuesday the blog comment was to "hold up on the party" because he was not coming back yet. I do expect that if the Dolphins cut him there will be some opportunities for him elsewhere in the NFL but unlike many of the players that are going to be cut this weekend, at least he has an insurance policy in the CFL.

Another in a long list of bad moves made by this club if they cut Restelli. If we cut him he will show up on someone's roster and will contribute for 7-8 yrs. From the limited action he has had in the PS, he is always around the ball.

And with a bit more playing time he is going to pull down those "almost" interceptions...

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! For the love of God, why?
