S. Alexander got a contract done worth 62 with 15 guaranteed so that takes 1 more RB off the market and hopefully if all is well with RW it can take his stock up some more.

btw, when they say gaurantee, does that come out of the 62 and give him 15 upfront or is it 62 with 15on top?

its 15 million guaranteed out of 62, but they dont have to give it to him upfront.

maybe a 2 million bonus now, then 10 million next year, and then 3 million in year 5.

It will improve Ricky's worth, it means only 1 more Ricky caliber RB is on the market in Edge.

the way you say that, you make it sound as if ricky is worth, or would get anywhere near the same deal as edge...which is COMPLETELY wrong.


even if ricky is as good/better than edge, it is moot considering he is worth the value of a quality 2nd string RB at this point.

He will never finish all 8 years of that contract, he will be cut or restructure before then. The signing bonus is spread throughout the enxt four years because there is no cba, which means they will be able to cut him after that without a big penalty.
