Hey, if I'm not mistaken, I think Alfred Morris's contract is up after this season. Should be interesting to watch with Ezekiel Elliot serving his suspension.

I'm thinking that he would be a good pickup to keep with Drake and Williams. That is, assuming that we don't draft from the embarrassment of riches likely coming at the position in the next draft.

Who are some other key FAs that the team should be preparing to look at and/or sign?

no thanks. morris is not the answer. first get our starting qb back. and build through the draft. the problem with that is who the fo is

Attack the post but not the poster, Next personal attack gets points.

They'll probably draft one but Morris could be a cheap stopgap if need be.

Other FAs to be looking at are interior oline, TE, LB, and secondary. All are needed and all can't be addressed in the draft - especially oline.

Morris would be a fine stop gap/just in case back.

I'd be okay with Morris coming in and competing for the job, but gotta give the guys there a chance.

i would draft ALL OL and LBers... then sign a few OL and lbers in FA

1) Is he past his prime? - I'm guessing we will have this question answered over the next 5 games. If he looks good I'd be interested. We NEED his running style for sure.

2) How much will he cost? - Well, if the answer to #1 is no, then he is probably gonna cost more than I'd like to spend for a non-featured goalline type of back. If it is yes, then we should save our money altogether.

If cap space wasnt an issue I'd prefer signing Morris so we can use our draft to fix the QB, oline and lbers.

IF Drake balls out for us the rest of the year I'd still like a short yardage power back though.

Pass on spending a single dollar on a free agent running back unless it's a huge steal.

Teams have been nabbing starting tailbacks all over the draft in recent years. If you can find a Kamara caliber back in the third round it's golden. Should be able to find a back to pair with Drake in rounds 2-4.

The team has so many holes man and our cap is not good and we don't have a lot of extra picks either. We have an extra 4 but no 5. We gotta hope that some of the young guys are better next year than what they have shown this season. Harris, Howard, Phillips all need to be much better next year and RM needs to come back 100% healthy and ready to go and even if they're all better we still have holes at TE,LB and all over the O-line as well as RB. With Greer and t-dumb running the show I don't like our chances

Ozzy rules!!

Nobody really. They should be looking to clean house. They should blow this seriously flawed roster up and trade away players for as many draft picks as possible and build it the right way. Through the draft.
Building through the draft also isn't a guarantee that your team is going to be any good.

Though Morris would not be a bad idea, the O_line needs to take top priority once and for all in FA...no more 2nd or 3rd rate linemen that might or might not succeed.

Andrew Norwell , LEFT GUARD
Will cost $$$$$$ but one of the better guards out there
Not sure we'll have the money or desire to sign a GREAT guard
since Gase and co. love to shop the bargain bins for guards

In related news Ted Larsen had one of the
lowest run blocking scores by a guard that I've ever seen
this past game.
