I see Dameschek is doing a division by division All-22. He's on the NFC at the moment, but thought it would be interesting to preempt him and try to get an AFCE one out there before ours lands.

I haven't put this in Beasts of the AFCE because it involves Fins players also.

O-line was genuinely hard. It becomes apparent how awful the AFCE lines are when you try to do this and emphasises that there's a good chance Mathis goes to the AFCE (my guess, Pats). Had to play a guard out of position just to get a line together....

Interested to see your variations. Was hard to shoehorn Fins players in there given the divisional talent, so from my view anyone who's in there is on merit. Miller might be a little controversial ahead of Jackson but he would thrive with Brady imo.

Interested to see other variations - have at it...

O-Line

LT Solder (NE) - Solder has missed one game in 4 years, so edges Albert
LG Wendall (NE)
C Mangold (NYJ)
RG Colon (NYJ)
RT Vollmer (NE)

RB Miller (MIA)

QB Brady (NE)

TE Gronkowski (NE)

WR Watkins (BUF)
WR Edelman (NE)
WR Marshall (NYJ)

WR group could look very different, I know. Next year I'd be shocked if it didn't.

D-Line

DE Wake (MIA)
DT Suh (MIA)
DT Dareus (BUF)
DE Hughes (BUF)

OLB Collins (NE)
ILB Harris (NYJ)
OLB Hightower (NE)

SS Jones (MIA)
FS McCourty (NE)
CB Revis (NYJ)
CB Grimes (MIA)

Jerry Hughes over Mario Williams, Sheldon Richardson, or Muhammad Wilkerson?

I'm a big fan of Hughes. I guess I could have gone with a 3-4 and then Wilkerson and Rochardson would have demanded a lot of respect, but with so many good linemen in the AFCE it seemed stupid not to go 4-3. Williams vs Hughes? Yup, it's a tight call also.

I like Miller too, but Shady should be there.

Tell you my thinking there - Miller has developed into a pretty good allround back - inside and outside, rushing and receiving. If I could have listed 2 RBs, McCoy and Jackson would have been my choice easily. If you need one guy to do it all, I prefer Miller over McCoy by a gnat's undercarriage.

You'd go Shady. Who else would you have in there?

you could come up with three DLs in that division that would make everyone tremble. Cameron Wake, Ndamukong Suh, Sheldon Richardson, Muhammad Wilkerson, Damon Harrison, Leonard Williams, Kyle Williams, Marcell Dareus, Jerry Hughes, Mario Williams, Chandler Jones, Malcolm Brown.... just pick your poison.

I don't think Sammy Watkins has done enough to be a top 3 WR in the division. You must have put him in there on potential.

I agree with Farmer on Shady (up to this point of his career and what he did in Philly) being in front of Miller. McCoy is a much better receiver than Miller.

I'd put Landry over Edelman for wide receiver and McCoy over Miller, but otherwise I think that's a pretty good effort.

You know what, I agree with you. But assuming Edelman has to be in there as the best slot guy in the division, you're then looking for two good outside guys. I'd prefer not to have either Watkins or Marshall there - one hasn't done enough and one has his best days maybe behind him. So, OK - you could have Jennings, Decker, Stills, Parker on the outside instead of either or both of those, but I'm not sure there's a combo that has convincingly more merit to it. In a year or two, you could have three entirely different receivers in that list no problem.

Your list is pretty spot on! Only 2 changes I'd have is McCoy over Miller and Mario over Hughes. Ive just never liked/trusted Hughes but he's starting to prove me wrong for sure.

Parker doesn't belong...he hasn't even made a catch in the league. I would put Decker in there though. Stills was just as productive last year as Watkins was but again, different team and system (like McCoy).

Looks good but yea McCoy needs to be the RB. Different team or not. Marshall wasnt a Jet last year so if that's the criteria he shouldn't be in there

I'd be interested to see the "Worst 22" that would be fun!
