First let me start by saying that i am in no way convinced that Gus is the future of this team. I hope its clear to u Feeley supporters that the only reason we HAD to bring in ANOTHER QB is because your boy Feeley wasnt,(and still isn't) cutting it. So why all the hate for Gus after ONE bad game??? It seems to me that you guys(and girls) seem to be very patient when Feeley fails time and time again, yet when the QB that has EARNED the right to start a game, has a bad game, your so quick to throw him under the bus!! What merits this?? Feeleys stellar performance last year?? How about giving Gus some time before you start saying " see, i told u Feeley was better", after ONE pre season game. Let me remind you that this is Gus' first year here.(he hasnt even had a full game to prove himself or hang himself). Feeley, however, has been here a bit longer (and has managed to hang himself just fine) . And i know, i know, Gus know the system, and AJ has to learn learn it from scratch. But Feeley has been with the same receivers for over a year. Gus has not. So while Gus is familiar with the system, AJ is familiar with the players. And let me also remind you that its not only AJ learning a new system, THE WHOLE TEAM is learning a new system. Yet neither Sage or Brock seem to be having as much trouble as AJ.
why is that??
Gus may not be a geat Qb. He may not even be a good QB. Hell, he may even suck!! BUT, he's good enough to be the frontrunner for the starting positon. So whats that say about Feeley??

Again.. i'm no "Gusketeer", and i'm certainly no Feeley lover. I'm a Dolphins fan that will support whoever is under center. But when all the AJ supporters try to trash Gus after ONE game,(and not even a full game at that), when AJ has failed miserably for half a season as astarter!!! Couple that with the fact that AJ is not only losing the starting job, but maybe even the 2nd string to Sage, it just makes me laugh. I mean what has AJ shown you that makes you believe he can start for the Doplhins, or ANY team for that matter?? :shakeno:

very well said. feeley might of had a decent game today or atleast make it look that way by throwing 3 yard passes but how many more points did feeley put on the board than gus today? and at least a bad day for gus doesnt consist of multiple interceptions like a average feeley day.

Gus has sucked the entire preseason. Most of us, me included, havent seen the practices but what we do see is the preseason games and Gus SUCKS. Now true maybe AJ hasnt been better, though I will argue if pressed that he has, but at least he's younger with some potential of upside. Gus was supposed to be the seasoned vet that came in and showed poise and presence and knowledge of the offense. Great but he cant hit the side of a barn! AJ starts. Go with potential over guaranteed doom.

A) 100 consecutive passes without an INT to conclude last season.

B) A 4th quarter comeback victory over the eventual Super Bowl Champions.....

C) Missing one play due to a dislocated finger......then throwing a 30 yard TD on the very next play.(SF game)

D) 16-20, multiple first down pickups and the only life that Miami showed tonight.....

E) I could go on.....but I wont.

The picks are last year's problems when it comes to Feeleys (and you have to go as far back as before the Patriots game to make that case) Get up to speed on his deficiencies. Picks are no longer a problem. That's pretty obvious

he threw one last week that was right too the defender and there could of easily been more

Frerotte has had far more that "couldve" been intercepted. As for the pick the receiver didnt even make a play on the ball. You cant blame AJ 100% - maybe 50/50 but it is no way even close to his problems last year. That was an "acceptable" interception.

A= How about all the picks he threw that cost the team 7 points?? forget about those?? and QB's arent supposed to throw INT's. the fact that u have state how many consecutive passes he DIDN'T throw an INT speak volumes.

B= I'll give AJ this one he played well. even tho, by tom bradys own admission, he always struggles against miami's defense

C=Proves he's got heart. (i never disputed that). its talent im disputing

D= uumm the game i saw, Gus had alot more passes dropped. thats not Gus
fault. And i really didnt see much life from the team as a whole. Not just Gus

E= I doubt you could go on, because u just stated the ONLY positive things that AJ has ever done in a Fins uniform. and you didnt say much

get up to speed on his dificiencies?? sorry, he has so many, its hard to keep up! and picks will no longer be a problem when he proves theyre no longer a problem. because he went two games without one shouldnt be considered a problem solved.

How many games do you need to prove its not a problem? 2,4, 16. What percentage do you find acceptable?

Well, considering it only took him half a season to prove he does have a problem, i'll give him that much time to prove he doesn't. But why don't we wait until he proves he can even start first.

A) The picks that he threw were in the beginning of the season. He PROGRESSED.
Get it? Got better? Made strides? Improved?
100 passes without an INT to conclude the season. Period.

So let me get this straight?

You agree with A, B and C.

D) is absolutely the consensus among the board. So Ill chalk that up as being correct as well.

E) Once again ....I could go on. How about a 3 TD first half against the Bills?(damn those 5 picks in the second :))

The question was: "What has Feeley done to make you think he could start for the Dolphins or any team for that matter"?

I think I have answered that question.....and I did it without trashing Gus.

Goodnight.

He proved it against New England. So far Gus hasnt proved squat. And I did it trashing Gus

my question for edsta is what preseason have u watched one bad game ur crazy hes sucked all preseason and now you wanna use excuses that you make fun of feeley supporters for usin theres a word for u i think its hypocritical. Getting used to recievers is a joke of an excuse. How can we all say how deep we are at wr and then say gus needs to get used to our wr but then they're supposed to be great. Ding ding heres a wake-up call start the kid who has more upside.
