Look at the First Round QBs in the division

Pennington- never played a full season
Ramsey- looks lost every time he is under center
Losman- who knows what he is thinking when playing QB
Harrington- Was horrible in detroit and we r kidding ourselves if we think he will fare better in Miami.

Kidding ourselves? Detroit has been a mess of an organization the entire time Joey was there. I am not saying he is going to come here and be a Pro Bowl type QB, but he can certainly have some success here. Coaches like Saban and Mularkey can help get his career on the right path.

Exactly!!!! I am really tired of people being negative before someone even gets a chance to prove himself. We are not kidding ourselves in any way, we needed a back-up QB and he was the best out there. So we did a good job with the QB situation this year.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!!!!!

I am going to have to disagree here Nubs, the Lions have been a mess since WAY before Joey ever stepped foot on the field.

i dont understand why people are against the trade for joey, its not like we were the only team interested in him but teams like the bengals and denver showed a lot of interest (denver before the draft) and both those teams are playoff caliber clubs and i think we owe harrington the bennefit of doubt i mean the lions are just an overall horrible team and its not like they were only loosing with joey but they were loosing with jeff garcia too who would constantly get angry with the offense and the routes the wrs ran, i think that the change for harrington will be good, the kids got talent he was the #3 overall pick in the draft however he landed on a horrible franchise and team with no direction but downwards, the lions would have trouble winning with brady as there qb, joey wasnt the only player on the lions

Whats lost in this whole situation is how much of a scrub JP Loserman has been and the Jills were riding this kids johnson about him being the next big thing.

I dont see any busts in that list.I dont see any all pros either. With the exception of Penningon what I see is three QBs who have not had a decent chance to reach their potential yet.
