Well, everyone can relax now on discussions of Fair treatment. He will be playing with the Carolina Panthers. His starting was more important than the "winning talk".

Any one have ideas of direction now. I expect DirtyCashHoldin to have some insight here.

A lot of people have been knocking Harrison, but he was considered among the better players cut and his knee injury may have had something to do with that. He may surprise.

Any thoughts?

Here it is from KFFL no Fair. Maybe T Buck?

Panthers | Fair Landed - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
19:00 PT: Len Pasquarelli reports for ESPN.com the Carolina Panthers have agreed to a contract with free agent CB Terry Fair (Lions). He will sign a one-year contract that could be worth up to $1.2 million. Agent Reggie Smith said Fair's decision came down to the Panthers and the Baltimore Ravens. "He's not a 'nickel' back," Smith said. "He's a starter and he would have gotten a chance to start at both places. He just got off a plane and decided that Carolina was the right place."

In the article, it specifically says he is not a nickelback. Hmmmm, I wonder who they are talking about there......

Basically since it came down to Balty and Carolina, he's gonna start for a year and try and improve his chances of gettin the payday next year with a good team. Its a preference choice. If he preferred to play for a winner obviously it would be between Miami and Green Bay, both of whom were offering the same thing...nickel CB with some return duties. Good choice for him, he's playing for the most money this year and in other years. He goes out and looks good and healthy as a starter in Carolina and come 2003 he'll see a nice payday. He comes out for the phins and looks good in a nickel CB role, he gets Terry Cousin money (which is a little less than Fair wants obviously).

No hard feelings there, he made the best choice available to him IMO. Well ok maybe Balty might have been a better choice...
