i know theres alot of threads currently talking about a possible head coach for the dolphins...i dont get a chance to get on here too often so i wanna just throw my 2 cents in:

in light of petrino going to the falcons...i believe miami can take some more time and look deeper into the possible canidates for the job. arizona, oakland, possibly dallas, and pittsburgh are all in the running for coaches...

i feel pittsburgh will land whisenhunt. i think rooney will stay with hometown favorites and staying in house for their head coach i think is the way to go. its worked for them the last 30 years right?

arizona is in my opinion looking at jim mora jr and ron rivera. i think mora can mold that offense into something special and rivera can really turn that defense around and live up to all the potential that it has had for the last 2 years.

dallas i think is gonna be looking for a coach as well. parcells does not want TO anymore and i think its gonna be the either he goes or i go scenario. we'll wait and see on that one though

oakland i feel will want to grab rivera or pete carrol..if they can pry him from college ball. im not sure what that ole senile ba***rd is doing out there but obviously it isnt good

as for our dolphins. i feel our best canidates will be cam cameron who is my choice for the next head coach. this team needs to focus on offense, not defense. i honestly feel any offensive guru will land here and help our offense out. theres just way too much talent to go to waste in some of the prime positions and it has to be rectified or there will be no "this is the next dan marino"..i do not feel rivera is a good choice, only because he is a defensive minded coach. i like the idea of possibly martz or sherman, they are both proven winners and i will bet both have something to prove after being thrown out of their last jobs even though both were very successful. so the choice is cam cameron for me...any insights?

oh and one more thing

My screen name is an official joke now. Saban is a joke, his methods are a joke, and thats why he couldnt hack the nfl, because he is a joke:fire: :shakeno:

That's too bad for your name. I like Cam Cameron as a choice, and I'm intrigued by the interview of Tomlin tomorrow. He seems like a candidate that may not be the apple of everyone's eyes on this board, but a surprising change and youthful leadership may be the approach our Fins need. Just my two cents, but I've got full confidence in whomever takes over the reigns, save a college coach.

my pick is for bill parcels. I dont see him staying in dallas after jerry stepped on his ^*(&&^* this season. I hope wayne can lure him here now that thier season is over.

I bet if Parcells retires, Jerry Jones will try to nab Bob Stoops from Oklahoma ... another college coach to try his hand with the "big boys" in the NFL. The Falcons just got Petrino from Louisville.

Welcome to the party. I've been saying that for 12 weeks now, and for 11 of those weeks I was being trashed on a daily basis on this board. But anyway...

As for Cam Cameron, he couldnt' hack the Big 10. You think now hes gonna hack the NFL? If hes bringing SDs oline, Rivers, Antonio Gates, and LT, bring him on. But hes gonna have Dented Culpepper, a porous Oline, no TE to speak of, and a good (but not great) RB.

All of this Cam Cameron talk needs to stop. Remember how successful Siefert was with the 49ers with all those great players? Remember how he sucked when got to Carolina. Cameron isn't even on Sieferts level.

Think about it...WH is talking about hiring an OC (who failed as a college coach) and not only making him coach but making him HC/GM. This is a recipe for disaster kicked up a notch. BAM!

anybody got some ideas?!!! haha i need to seriously think about this one..

There are some ideas posted in that thread.Basically its safe to select a name associated with a past hero. They can never disappoint you.
