Greatness wasn't mentioned. Being a top 15 QB is the topic. It is a realistic expectation. There are only a handful of elite QB's in the league.
 
im not huge on QB's in the draft - after my true sleeper in freeman got picked up - i wound up taking orton as my starter and henne as my back up. i also took bush as my 3rd RB and got laughed at. truth be told i've been watching these guys all summer - i garuntee bush puts up numbers and has a good year just from the sheer way in which he is being utlized and Chad Henne is going to put up numbers period - he even did last year - he just has to limit INT's and hes up there. I'm hoping to eventually have to sub henne for orton but we'll see.
 
Any quality starting QB should be top 15 with the weapons we have on offense. OL is a huge setback though.

Nice one, because at the moment Henne is a "Top 32" QB.
 
top 15?? TOP 15??!!?? homeboy, if he's #15... he's that much "closer" to being one of the leagues sh**iest quarterbacks.

1. New OC. - aggressive playcalling-- Not being told if you throw a pick you'll be benched for pennington
2. Better OL play w/ pouncey... I know they struggled in preseason, but when jake gets back this line will be better.
3. More experience- last year was really his first yr going in as a starter, a lot of great QB's struggled their 1st year.
4. Healthly Marshall ... He is in beast mode this year.... he looks like he's on a mission this yr.
5. He's scrambling for 1st down's more--- I know he's no mike vick, but I like what I see from him in preseason being able to run it for key first down's and keep drives going.
6. No more Wildcat BS... destroying his mommemtum when he is putting togher good drives.
7. He will get big stat's passing with reggie bush on the team. Just dump it off to bush and let him get theYAC.
8. Don't have to worry about being benched every wk, like last yr with pennington. This is his team.
9. Clyed gates get opening up the field with his ability to take top off d-fense- didn't have have that last yr.
10. He has had a lot of time working on timimg pattern's all offseason with bess, hartline....

Solid arguments. I don't agree that the o-line will play well though. In fact, I think they will take a step back this year. And Henne's vision and accuracy are still very suspect. But I suppose if the coaching staff actually sticks with their claim to be aggressive, and if they (as well as Henne) don't have any knee jerk reactions to early turnovers, then Henne may yet prove to be a servicable QB.
 
1 more reason - He just needs to climb 9 spots to finish as the 15th best QB in a year where you will have 4 rookie QB's with no OTA's and offseason reps.

I completely agree. I seriously see Henne in the top 10 easily in yards with the running game in it's current state. I feel that he might probably throw close to the same amount of interceptions but I see him in the 25-30 TD range.
