I know the phins dont have much money to spend but lets get something done and make a statement by signing a big name player, showing the league and other fa's that we mean business this year on the market. Key players we need to get are brees, peterson , mawae ,givens...and ashworth even thou im not sure of him. After that anything else is great.. we can our secondary help thru the draft.....get drew now forget culpepepper and McCown, there both useless

Saban and Co. are trying to address the QB situation before evrything else, as they should. Once that is settled, be it Brees, Culpepper or whoever, hen they will pursue the other position players.

Remember, sometimes deals are done over the phone. I believe most of the Browns' signings so far were done over the phone.

1.Most guys are visiting tomarrow
2.Guys like Adams, Mawae (maybe Givens) aren't going to be signed until we finds out whats happening with Brees

Most? They only signed 2 players so far.

2 very good players, and are close to signing Joe Jerevicious.

I understand that. Just commenting on his "most of the deals were done on the phone" I'd still like the thread starter to give his wisdom as to why Culpepper is garbage though.

For a team in deep need of upgrading, the dolphins look to be out of water!!!

For a team in deep need of upgrading QB, LB, CB, SS, the dolphins have signed absolutely no one since the start of FA. They are fixated on DB and DC that they are so far up their rearends that every other player that could bring a significant upgrade talent wise is being shopped and signed by other teams. We are hosed if this keeps up, like Brees or Culpepper can lead us to the promise land on their backs - we lost alot of talent prior to FA and nothing has come in. Mark my words, we are in deep &*^t my fellow fin fans. Yes I am being negative, because there are other needs on this team and we have limited talent in FA and oh so many draft picks. I am not going to look through rose colored glasses any more, I want to see some talent come into this organization before it is too late. If we have the money, let's spend and spend wisely. :fire: HEED: We need to start filling the voids now!!!

Some of you act like you're three, the "gimme gimme" attitude. I suggest you show some patience because you'll get nowhere with that attitude. Compare this to where your a senior HS student, and you are choosing colleges. Well you've had a top 5 ballet of Florida State, U of Florida, Miami U, U of Georgia, and U of Iowa (represent). Now in order to choose a college, are you honestly going to be able to see which you'd like to go to in a matter of 17 hours or something, and choose a college? No. It takes time for these players to meet with team officials. So would some of you please take a chill pill, we're not going to sign anyone big today...

Woah obviously you can't remember last offseason and what a great job Saban did because if you did you wouldn't be running those lips so much. Have a little patience Saban knows what he is doing and put faith in him. He can build Defenses through the draft and right now he is trying to figure out whos going to be leading this team into battle next year by grabbing a QB and no doubt he is going through the free agents list and seeing who to grab. They have talked to players theres just no deals to be made Peterson even commented about wanting to play for the Dolphins and Arrington so just calm yourself and let Saban work his magic.

Patience is a virtue.....Good Things Take Time, they don't get done overnight.....WWII wasn't won overnight....oh hell no....
