has me wondering what happen to the T.O. talk? if we get them both here with CC on the other side and Randy at TE and our backs your looking at opposing defenses urniating on themselves on Sundays. Doubt it will happen but I can dream like the rest of you.

Man oh man, I hope we dont get T.O. Hes not the type of player you need when you are trying to rebuild a franchise.

Yeah I think if Culpepper is in a fins uniform were gonna get a big name reciever Moss/Owens for him to throw it up to.

The TO and Culpepper thing is just more garbage speculation that always floats around here.

Just like last year when there were all these rediculous rumors of Edge or Alexander coming to the Fins. We were also going to get Shanahan, Holmgren, Fassell, or Reeves as our new head coach.

If you ask me, Philly will follow the example that Miami did with Ricky. They will work things out with him and let him try to rehibitate his image with his current team. Then maybe he can make the switch. But by then, he will be too old and nobody will care.

Culpepper isnt going anywhere. Minnesota has a ton of investment in him. Hes their franchise player.

Miami is going to develop its own identity by getting its core players from the draft. Gus will be back next year, with a rookie sitting right behind him.

Culpepper is a strong possibility with the resurgance of brad johnson and the inflated contract of culpepper will make minnesota want to cuthim to save money.

Offer: 4 years, 40 million with a signing bonus and incentives built in

Yeah cause I would hate to have another 1000 yard reciever. That would just kill what we are trying to do here. The thing with T.O. is that where ever he goes he is going to be on such a short leash that as soon as he slips up one time he'll be gone. He also knows that if he gets exposed as a cancer again he is pretty much done in the NFL.

T.O. is a win/win situation as far as I'm concerned.

It would be easy, Culpepper hires Drew Rosenrosen, Says he wants a new deal and 10% commission on Tice's superbowl scalping revenues. He may be released for cap reasons.

TO would come at a reasonable rate, with behavioral clauses/incentives.

After TO's first 10 catch 200 yard game the league would learn a lesson 1)Talent rules 2)there is no substittute for superior talent and #3)talent rules

I don't want either one of them. Culpepper lacks leadership and unless he has a big time reciever to bail him out, he looks very average. Owens has proven one thing: he is a headache - to put it lightly. Let's also not forget, he will start slowing down sooner than later. He is in his 30s now. So he'd have to come very cheap considering his history and the fact that he isn't getting younger. I find it hard to imagine Owens excepting a smallish contract. He wants a contract as big as his ego. The NFL doesn't have that much money.

It would kill what we are trying to do here. Saban is trying to build a team for the future, not build a team for a 1-2 year stint. Owens isnt going to be a super star much longer, like previously stated hes already in his 30s.

If you all dont know where I already stand on this Culpepper thing, I'll say it again. If we have the chance to get ahold of a Pro-Bowl QB who would have been the MVP last year if it wasn't for P. Manning, a guy that set the 4th highest QB rating over 110, and threw over 40 TD's in a year... we better do it. Yes he's coming off a serious injury but he'll be back better than he was before and stronger. The guy is young, experienced, has a linebacker frame, will still have the ability to scramble, and will be back scorching D's again when he comes back. As for the TO talk, there's no arguing that he puts up the #'s and makes plays. When it comes down to it, he helps a team win games but I'm still hesistant on bringing the guy in... he's caused trouble for the 49ers, Ravens, and single-handlely ruined the Eagles this year. Culpepper to TO with our RB's and D is definitely has a nice ring to it. Main point, better get Daunte if we can!!

man you guys crack me up.

dont you remember the wanny days of just run, run, and punt ? oh my how quickly some people forget.

LOOK I want to win and i want a high octane offense , so why is everybody so set against a talented wr like T.O. WHEN we had a criminal like ceciel collins on the team and he wasnt helping us win.
WHAT DOES IT MATTER IF T.O SCORES A TD AND DANCES ON THE JETS LOGO IN MID FIELD. HELL I WOULD LAUGH MA BUTT OFF IF RANDY AND DIAMOND WERE TO PULL A FAST ONE AND DANCE UP A STORM. I THINK THIS T.O STUFF HAS BEEN OVERBLOWN.
HAVING CULPEPPER WOULD BE THE BIGGEST HELP THOUGH.

Its not the fact that TO celebrates

Its the fact that he signed a 7 year contract played one year and wanted a new one

its also the fact he ran Jeff Garcia out of San Fran

He is a headache it hasnt been overblown imo

that said Ill take anyone that will help us win
