All-time fantasy draft: Marino ranks No. 2 overall

i dont know why no one hasnt replied to this.. that makes a lil bit mad.. how can u rank tom brady in an all time list when he isnt even done with his career.. plus marino destroys brady if you compare every season.. marino is a statistical monster.. thats what makes marino the best.. regardless of superbowl wins, he is the best "pure passing qb" because he passed the football better than anyone.. his stats alone states his case enough.. peyton manning is even better than brady fantasy wise... without randy moss brady would not have even been considered in the top ten.. im sorry i think this is bull and i want to thank you for the post

The only statistic that matters is championships! Fair or unfair Marino will never be remembered as the best because the lack of championships!

Thats ridiculous.Brady nver put up good numbers til last year. I have played in FFLs where he wasnt drafted till the 8th round or so.

What do Championships have to do with FANTASY rankings? Brady has put up amazing numbers, and he put up great numbers before Randy Moss.

Cant the same thing be said for Peyton Manning? He has had Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne to throw to. That's pretty amazing in itself. Marino had the Mark brothers. Honestly, I dont see how we can't give respect where respect is due when it comes to Tom Brady.

Not true.. marino's legend will live on forever.. winning championships isnt everything.. as long as there is football and as long as they keep records every qb will be compared to dan marino because he wrote the record books.. he set the precedent of what greatness is... how can u be a fin fan and say that he wont be remembered.. stories of his greatness will be talked about for as long as this country has this great sport

When they have " The best QBs to ever play the game "you must get insulted when they don't put Marino at the default #1, eh? No offense dude but put down the Kool Aid. We all loved what Dan did for us in a Dolphins uniform and he was one of the greatest, but lets not act like its so clear cut and start attacking others for their opinions.

Ok Dan Marino played about twice as many season as Tom Brady and Dan Marino has almost 3 times as many total yards, and more than twice the amount of TDs... even if Tom Brady keeps at his level for the rest of his career (which is impossible because human beings age) he still wont match marino.. enough said right there.. MARINO WINS :woot:

im not attackin anyones opinion.. of course ppl wont always say he is the best and its a reasonable arguement.. but when a dolphin fan says he "wont even be remembered" thats what makes me upset.. because if your a fin fan u will know dan marino, now, 10 years from now, or 100... its just how it goes...

I didn't say he wouldn't be remembered? I said he won't be remembered as the best (I never said I agreed with it). Marino was the best pure passer ever! The lack of championship hurts his legacy!

Most Fantasy Football leagues that I know of don't award points for championships. Dan is far statistically superior. In his prime anybody in their right mind would take him over Brady in fantasy.

The article kinda proves that no, he wasn't, and no, you wouldn't. Based on regular season performance you would take Brady last year over anyone else. Ever. And that seems about right.

Do the words 'All-time' mean anything to you? This isn't the 'last year fantasy draft.'
