Allan Houston to Retire!

Say this much: Isiah actually got it right. He gambled that Houston would retire, so he got rid of another onerous contract under the "Allan Houston Rule". Now, he's rid of Houston's ultra-crappy deal and Jerome Williams crappy deal.

Of course, none of that will matter when he's doing things like paying Jerome James a full five year mid level exception.

What I Said 2 weeks ago. Houston told the coaches and organization that he would make a decision on retirment by the 2nd game of the season. That if he couldn't go by game 1, he would retire prior to game 2. It didn't even take that long. Isiah knew this and played his cards right!
