He has inside sources and had the 2nd most accurate mock last year.
I would prefer Chase at 3 and Waddle at 8 than Smith at 3Id be happy with Smith even if it was at #3.
That’s the problem with too many GM’s. They fall in love with players. They should fall in “like” with players. For example, Miami should be happy with four players with their top pick. All three of the top wideouts and Pitts. If they can trade down and still get one of these players it’s better value and a smarter hedge of your investment than just picking the guy you absolutely love at #3.If they are totally convince that Smitty is who they like, and dont want to risk loosing him, then sure....get him at 3!
Fans also fall in love with 'their' guy and when he isn't selected Grier sucks. That’s the problem with too many GM’s. They fall in love with players. They should fall in “like” with players. I agree with you to a point. In this year's case yes, if what they want is a top WR(I hope so) then I'm ok with any of the 3 if we move down. If we were looking for a QB(glad we're not) then you don't trade down thinking anyone of 3 will do. You take your QB. Same if what you need is a pass rusher and there's one like Young then you take Young. That’s the problem with too many GM’s. They fall in love with players. They should fall in “like” with players. Agree 100%. I’d be stunned if they don’t trade back. That’s the problem with too many GM’s. They fall in love with players. They should fall in “like” with players. Exactly how I feel. I think if I were a GM, the only position I would be willing to move up for is a QB in the first round.I agree with you to a point. Sounds like the attitude that landed us Iggy and Jackson. Don't draft like u think u are the smartest guys in the room. That’s the problem with too many GM’s. They fall in love with players. I won't be shock for anything they do but I'd be upset if we don't move back. The value of pick 3 in the draft is in trading down for good picks instead of draft an OT for example.Agree 100%. I’d be stunned if they don’t trade back.
This is exactly to my point (my post above). If we don't draft Pitts you will want to vent for sure.Pitts or bust - I’ve looked at smith and waddle chase - not sure I’m in love with any of them....it’ll take a while for them to get to their NFL potential...while Pitts is already a man amongst boys...
